I think Wordsworth also had a small house on one of Persimmon's first developments near Ribchester...probably just so he could get away from all the bloody daffodils.
Thanks for reminding me about Waitrose, the nearest of which is over 150 miles away.
It was Grassmere - thought I had never been to Cockermouth (I would have remembered)
Not sure where the nearest Waitrose is but there is one near my mother-in-laws in Crowborough.
-
Did Wordsworth have two houses?
I went to his house but it wasn't there I'm sure.
Sainsburys is posh but I think Waitrose is somehow posher, be thankful you don't have a Netto

You should thank your son for making you throw away a suede jacket. As for the NHS, well, perhaps it's best I don't tell you about having to stand there waiting at reception for 5 minutes in the cottage hospital in Penrith, knowing I was the only patient, until I started raising my voice, when all of a sudden a nurse toddles along saying they're being as quick as they can, which would seem fair enough until I walk past a room with four nurses in having a cup of tea.
But having a cup of tea is an essential part of the Nurses day. It must happen at a set time regardless of how much blood etc is pouring out of you
Sorry to any nurses out there
-
Oh dear, sorry to hear about the little one.
It's nice to know that the NHS can still help dispite most people thinking it's going down the toilet.
Thankfully my son has never managed to be sick on me but I had to throw away a suede jacket due to a misfortune involving the other end
I'm sure your Speedos put a cheer in the hearts of many ladies in their twilight years

OMG.....blurgh...nasty...hic...urgh.....blurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhh!
OON any more descriptions like this, and I'd be obliged if you posted a warning first...it's very dangerous for us pregnant types to get nasty shocks like that!! :o
Oh blimey, I missed that when I read it :o
Trust you to point it out to me Roo <_<
In France you have to wear them at public baths, Hubbie has a lovely pair hiding in the bottom draw in case we go again

Even though poor Mr Happy has lost one of his legs, he still keeps smiling...what a trooper he is.......

If you're not going to take my Blog seriously, then perhaps I shouldn't bother? It wasn't easy pouring out my innermost feelings you know.
Sorry OONpuss, I shall curb my sarcasm and be a sensible person from now on. I shall punish myself severely by stabbing myself with my propelling pencil

A Cowl - wasn't that a dodgy scalf thing that Spandau Ballet made popular in the 80's

When you can, give in to it and sleep for an hour or so.
I used to come home from work and climb into bed for an hour (so not like me) and then I was better
-
LOL I hope you deliberately blew the rest her way!
Did you read my unedited version I wasn't so polite with my thoughts
-
You are too kind - I'm a woman and we will admit to being terrible at parking
-
Well done, it sounds really complicated to get your licence these days, you even have to do parallel parking (I would have failed on that)
Happy, safe driving

LOL Katie, is it the Monty Python theme?
think yourself lucky, when I moved out to my village I heard what I thought was an Ice-cream van, being a hot day I thought I'd poddle out and get one, Imagine my disappointment when I found out it was actually the mobile butcher!!! Just what the veggie ordered!
So what colour have you gone for? My lounge was orange once but it did my head in, now it's a lovely shade of cream, very minimalist, relaxing, peaceful etc. ok I admit it it's not cream it's Magnolia, but it's a creamy magnolia
It's going to be Hunny Bee on the top and Spanish Urn on the bottom. I hope they don't argue with each other as one is Dulux amd the other is Crown
My mum moved into my first house before I was born, it was a Edwardian terrace house (v nice but freezing) she was 8 months pregnant but insisted on decorating the front room. Why? because it had purple skirting boards and doors and Parrakets (sp) climbing up bamboo wallpaper - don't you just love the 70's
-
Well today Milo told me that he doesn't like butter but after a bit of thought said that Dogs do like butter.....so bare that in mind
-
Eat little and often. Suggest Ginger thins to help with the ickie feeling
Sleep whenever you can, believe me you will never get that level of sleep ever again (well not before you are 70 )
Take care

I think I must be one of the 25

When I told my mum I had to wait for her to finish rambling about her new breadmaker. I told her and about 2 mins later started on about the breadmaker again
