QUOTE(Matt B @ 17 Feb 2006, 11:43 PM)If we guess will you tell us?
Maybe
-
All I can think here is "awww"... it sounds like a very bad time at the moment!
Hope it all gets better soon (hugs)
Thanks
Even having had a child before, it's still hard not to get paranoid and wound up that something is wrong
Just need to chill
-
Excellent news
She certainly looks likes she's thriving and there is something really lovely about baby giggles
-
How old is she now? Tilly's already over 9lbs but we have big bruisers in our family
It's a constant thing with little ones, of looking forward until they can do things, then regreting the fact you can't leave them be without them trying some acrobatics
Enjoy her while she is small, they really grow up so fast it's scary
-
You poor thing, been through the wringer a bit recently
Put your feet up, forget about work for a few days and send yourself mad with daytime telly (does that to me )
Take care hun
-
Ewww......putting eye drops in anyone is awful but a child not nice
Hope she's feeling better soon and keep up the tempting with smoked salmon etc
-
Thanks all of you for you kind words
Been a bit of a rollercoaster of a week but I'm keeping my chin up
Health visitor comes tomorrow and I know she will ask how I am and hubbie's job (I let slip last week things were a bit iffy) so now I tell her the bad news but keep smiling and reassure her everything is ok with me
-
Thanks for your kind words
Hubbie has gone for an interview this afternoon, so fingers crossed
-
Good Luck Lorraine
-
Wow  How old now?
It seems only seconds since she was born  They grow up sooooo quickly. (must remember to take loads of photos)
It's lovely when they smile and laugh. MiniLoo smiles when she gets wind and I know it's not a real smile but it melts your heart anyway
Enjoy
-
Yep, it wasn't to busy on Monday but hubbie went back today to get some more stuff for shelves and buy the cotbed and it was chaos
I'm really glad I stayed at home and just got jabbed with needles instead
-
Glad to hear little one is getting better after her op
When they start smiling you can forgive them anything, a wonderful time
Enjoy Christmas and have a nice earned rest as well B)
-
Blimey, what a week
Glad to hear you are ok after the car accident
We all have to suffer the odd c*** week to make us appreciate the rest of the year (I must be owed some fantastic weeks then )
Chin up and think of the money when the cheques start landing
-
Awww.....bless
Little fella is getting very excited about xmas but doesn't want to wait until christmas day to open his presents - can't think were he gets his impatience from
-
Glad to hear MiniRoo is ok
GOSH is a fantastic hospital from all the reports I've heard. They may not be too good at balancing the books but who cares. What is most important is the care, which thankfully you have experienced
-
There is absolutely nothing wrong with not having some long life desire to have children, same as there is nothing wrong with having the desire to have no sleep, love life or social life for years
I did not have a feeling that if I did not have children I would not be complete but when I met the right guy I did want to have children at some point in the future (fate made that a bit earlier than planned )
I must admit that you may change your mind but as you said you are open to that happening. Don't worry what other people think, it's your life and your choice
-
Thanks guys
Just sick of having blood extracted and having to go to the hospital I feel like Tony Hancock in the Blood Donor
-
Good luck Roo - you are in very good hands there
-
COLIC
Nasty business Be thankful that boys tend to get it worse than girls. Little fella used to cry all afternoon but help is available. Buy some stuff called Infacol (sp) It sort of helps all the bubbles in the baby's tummy make a big bubble, then they can burp and hey presto - happy baby
Just don't stop using it straight away thinking everything is sorted, you have to keep using it for a little while
-
Glad you are liking Leeds, it's supposed to be a pretty good place for night action, especially if you are a student
-
Ah but you didn't go into the wall, it was the prat who overtook you
Enjoy your wine
-
That's really good news
You have to remember also that babies go through little growth spurts at so many days, then so many weeks (I forget the exact details) With MiniRoo being a bit early then she could just be doing her own thing on the growth spurt bit and hence being a bit grumpy/grizzly
But fantastic news and hopefully you will have a nice relaxing weekend
-
Hopefully this can all be sorted very soon and you can look forward to your first Christmas together
-
How awful Roo, children being ill is just heartbreaking
I think that hernias are quite common in children, not that it makes it any easier being your own child. I suppose be thankful that you have spotted it nice and early before any damage is done.
Babies are very resiliant, more than we think
Take care and try not to worry too much
