  1. You could try adversion therapy. I don't like Polos much, so when ever I wanted one I had a Polo. Soon my brain thought "oh no, not another Polo"

Another one is to do 5 sit ups or press ups each time. Your brain gets the message and you get toned up ;)

Good luck hun, you can do it cos you WANT to give up

Go Louby, go Louby, go Louby

  2. Maybe you need to invest in one of those light box things.

I must admit to not wanting to get out of bed most of the time at the moment :( The weather is just so dreary. If it were cold but bright it would be much better.

Try planning a little break in the next month to kick start you a bit. I've just booked a break at Centreparcs which has helped me be a bit more positive.

    :)

  3. The rocks are part of the Jurasic Coast formed from a dessert that was there many years ago (before OON was born) This makes the rocks quite red and although it's mainly shingle beach, when it's stormy it loosens all the sand and turns the sea a red colour. It makes a dramatic sight.

There were still surfers out there

  4. I was so busy last night that I forgot to bring the pressies down from the loft  How could I do such a thing :nonono:

Thankfully I realised at half 6 this morning when I sat bolt upright in the bed in a blind panic. I told Mr Loo that he had to bring them downstairs while I kept little fella busy with opening his stocking and door shut. I think we got away with it but never again

Hope you Christmas is as fun as ours is, Mr Loo is getting to grips with the Wii and laughing until crying watching me trying to play tennis

  5. Louby, I can't believe that you never had a blog before :o

I'm also having problems keeping asleep but I'm not sure if I'm excited or just worrying that my mother is going to wind me up on Christmas day

NW is certainly good at keeping you "sane", mind you, come January it will be sending you insane trying to figure if it's going to snow or not

Merry Christmas (if you can last that long) :smiliz19:

  6. I didn't know you had a pub and it is a very hard decision to make but dare I say a wise one. Too many people flog the dead horse and I admire you for your choice.

I would love to run my own business and know the leap of faith that you must have taken but also admire your guts, there will be another door opening in the future and that time it will work :good:

Good luck and comiserations for your current situation

  7. Thanks guys :)

I also realise I need a balaclava (sp) dispite having my hood up on my very wind/waterproof coat on, my poor cheeks took a battering of wind/rain/salt and are now very red and sore :(

Was worth it though, certainly blew a few cobwebs away. Tons of surfers/canoeists around this afternoon...........nutters

  8. Blimey, been in a similar situation in a "past life"

You need to take stock of your life. I left everything (a lot) and thought I would never have a life but now have a life I would have never have of imagined. Go on shock yourself, you don't know what is around the corner ;)

Take care and send me a PM if you want to natter more :)

  9. Hun, this is why On-line shopping was intented.

Having said that, they realised that it was far too easy to shop on line and that they had to make it more difficult or the shops would be empty. And so came to pass that you would order 3kgs of apples rather than three, you would buy the smallest bottle of Olive oil in existance, the one thing you desparately needed would be out of stock and the delivery driver would deliver right at the end of the slot when you were desparate for the pizza you were going to have for tea .
