  1. Think maybe you should go over to the model thread, the clue is in the title of this one...
  2. I must be living on a different planet, we have had numerous hard frosts, ice, fog, freezing fog and a sprinkling of snow. So whilst it might be applicable where you are, it is not the case across the board.
  3. Good advice John, which I have followed since the first time you espoused it years ago. Although I fear for the majority it is falling on deaf ears...
  4. Care to elaborate as I imagine this is meaningless to anyone new to the forum?
  5. Speak for yourself Feb, we have gone for a walk on the beach every Christmas day for as far back as I can remember. I shan't be writing off anything just yet, models still have time to conjure up something seasonal for the big day!
  6. Been observing mostly since the 'hunt' began this year, great reading and model viewing lately. But please don't bite the hook of a couple of posters, especially the passive aggressive nonsense. Plenty of interest going forwards...
  7. Not 5 mins ago you were mentioning charts at 192 - you can't have your cake and eat it matey boy!
  8. I hear what you're saying, but you can apply that philosophy to the whole of life, but there is only what has been and what is...
  9. You're no more West than me, could draw a straight line practically, you're just further north. All I know is it's been coming down steadily for nigh on 5 hours. There had been a bit of a thaw, but all the gaps have been filled in and topped up. In the short term it will definitely add to the drifting problems...
  10. I'm not, think you are west rather than south west aren't you (of Norwich that is)? Anyway, radar has been spot on, been snowing here since around 5pm, very fine powdery snow and blowing all over the shop, easily another inch of snow - approx 15 mins due south of you.
  11. Simply epic here in Norfolk, just keeps coming, going to need digging out at this rate!
  12. I'm about 26 min SW of Norwich and have 3 inches of lying snow this morning, still snowing now. Sounds like you've been desperately unlucky!
  13. That's not strictly true, depends what you call central - where are you? Plenty of Norfolk has seen snow overnight...
  14. It hasn't happened yet though has it, so nothing has been 'debunked', perhaps we can reserve judgement until the weekend.
  15. Yes, we might get the odd day of 70f inbetween all the rain, cripes might even be nice enough to have a bbq one day during the summer!
  16. I think you've missed the point that was being made...
  17. Clearly the Welsh have a different climate to that which I've experienced and understood all these years
  18. Thanks for quoting the whole damn thing!
