Really? Here in Stoke Mandeville there's not been much in the last 30 mins or so. Light, almost sleety again. The last few days have been nothing compared with what we had in Feb!
We were below freezing, then as the front moved in temps went up to around 2 degrees (at which point it was rain/sleet), as it moved over they then dropped back to sub freezing in the snow.
Haha that's staggering. Stoke Mandeville and absolutely nothing. The odd flake and some sleety bits. Even the radar is showing the dark red above us now!
Still another couple of hours for you guys to wait in MK I'm afraid.. It's moving very slowly indeed. It keeps starting and stopping, going from rain, to sleet to snow here.. Driving me mad!
Turned back to snow and intensifying, think this is the darker red on raintoday.co.uk moving over.. Just a warning to people further north etc that the light pink is actually falling as rain at the moment, not had a nice effect on our lying snow!
Very light and pathetic sleety snow here! Driving me mad as I know no more than 5-10 miles down the road it's been tipping it down. Just won't come north! Needs to move a bit more north west for us to see anything significant I think.
Heavy snow in Great Missenden too. Temperature's shot up last 15 minutes or so, just checked again and at ~1.5.. Worrying! Edit: Phew, light snow here, slightly south of Aylesbury. (Stoke Mandeville).
It seems to be warmer to the east of the system at the moment. High Wycombe, etc all have heavy snow, whereas places similiarly north but further east such as you seem to have sleety rain. Rather unfortunate. Certainly borderline! Wonder what we'll get here in the middle..
