  1. Really? Here in Stoke Mandeville there's not been much in the last 30 mins or so. Light, almost sleety again. The last few days have been nothing compared with what we had in Feb!
  2. I'm thinking though that over night the lower temps will help with that.. That far north I don't think rain is much of a threat.
  3. We were below freezing, then as the front moved in temps went up to around 2 degrees (at which point it was rain/sleet), as it moved over they then dropped back to sub freezing in the snow.
  4. Persistant snow up towards Aylesbury also. I assume there'll be quite a bit around Great Missenden/Coombe Hill etc too.
  5. Here's hoping it's correct and it's stalling! You've had enough snow..
  6. Were they showing it sitting over Bucks/etc for a while or quickly moving back?
  7. Well, -0.5 and snowing heavily. Well I never.. Here's hoping it continues! If we get enough it might hang around until christmas, hah!
  8. Ignore the light snow on the radar, it was over me here for about 1-2 hours before any snow actually started.. Falling nice and steadily now though.
  9. Yeah, have a similiar problem with the hills here (in a valley).. Just started snowing now though!
  10. You've got to be kidding me! Snow to the east, snow to the west, snow to the north, snow to the south..
  11. Radar now states 1-3cm an hour for here. I can accurately report 0cm an hour.
  12. Haha that's staggering. Stoke Mandeville and absolutely nothing. The odd flake and some sleety bits. Even the radar is showing the dark red above us now!
  13. Still another couple of hours for you guys to wait in MK I'm afraid.. It's moving very slowly indeed. It keeps starting and stopping, going from rain, to sleet to snow here.. Driving me mad!
  14. Turned back to snow and intensifying, think this is the darker red on raintoday.co.uk moving over.. Just a warning to people further north etc that the light pink is actually falling as rain at the moment, not had a nice effect on our lying snow!
  15. Come on snow.. It's only got about 10-15 miles to come! I've been staring out the window for the last 2 hours now!
  16. Very light and pathetic sleety snow here! Driving me mad as I know no more than 5-10 miles down the road it's been tipping it down. Just won't come north! Needs to move a bit more north west for us to see anything significant I think.
  17. Snows getting heavier here now, started out a light sleety mix.. Starting to intensify.
  18. Can report too that currently on the M3 there's very heavy snow, traffic moving very slowly. Looking very promising for a large amount of snow..
  19. Heavy snow in Great Missenden too. Temperature's shot up last 15 minutes or so, just checked again and at ~1.5.. Worrying! Edit: Phew, light snow here, slightly south of Aylesbury. (Stoke Mandeville).
  20. It seems to be warmer to the east of the system at the moment. High Wycombe, etc all have heavy snow, whereas places similiarly north but further east such as you seem to have sleety rain. Rather unfortunate. Certainly borderline! Wonder what we'll get here in the middle..
  21. Know someone who reported very heavy snow in Basingstoke. Nothing here in Aylesbury yet, expecting it to start soon. Edit: 0oC outside too.
