    I know the Beeb are not great at forecasts but I can't imagine I'm the only one waiting for the Country File forecast in a bit? Depending on the forecaster it may shed a bit of light on what they are thinking about the set up tomorrow

    I'm in Folkestone so if you come this way and spot a crazy chick on the cliffs photographing the action that'll be me!

    I'm a 2 minute walk from the cliffs here in Folkestone (SE Kent) and so a good view of the Channel, starting to get excited about Monday/Tuesday's potential! Just a shame I have work to go to...we should be able to get emergency exciting weather leave in these situations

    Watching the area of rain heading your way up off the Channel and hoping it continues on this way. Can't see any storm activity in it but a period of good, heavy rain would suit me!

    Very windy here still in SE Kent, just been outside for a look over towards the Channel and it's all starry with the odd cloud blowing over. Liking the look of the radar though!

    Nowt here in SE Kent, loving the radar returns for some areas of the UK though! Should be some pretty impressive rainfall totals by the morning

    Cloudy here with the sun trying to poke through. Temp 18c DP 13c Edit: overnight low was only 14.3c

    The ground was barely wet here overnight, very weak sun at the moment and it's looking very dark to the SW of here

    Blue skies here all day but turning very milky in the last half hour. Looking at radar and commenst on here though will all pass to the SW so much the same as yesterday here also

    I was looking at that line over Belgium too, will the cold sea not kill it as it crosses over from the Continent though?

    It isn't actually that cloudy here right on the SE tip of Kent - it's been sunny since sunrise but it is hazy

    According to the NW forecast on the front page it's only 12c here when in reality it's 20c Still no cloud here so really can't see anything of interest happening here either

    Exciting stuff! Yesterday saw several nice towers spring up from mid afternoon way out West but stayed clear here. Hoping for a lot more today, it's 20c now and the radar shows development just over the Channel already

    Gritters out here for second night in a row...currently 1c with the ol' weather station forecasting snow! Think it's become attuned to my weather wishes :lol:

    It never really got that sunny here and was fairly misty at times so I guess that helped suppress the temp. Down to 2.6c now

    Sky news's weather this morning had the SE for temps of 10c this afternoon! Proves how 'talented' they are as it only ever got as high as 5c and it's now 4c with a windchill of 0c! Do they have meteorologists assemble their forecasts does anyone know?

    Blimey it's quiet in here! Did anyone catch the Country Tracks forecast on the BBC earlier? I'm waiting for the Countryfile forecast later and hoping that might give us some good news! Though I see over on the model thread it's all doom and gloom again

    Would it be bad? It looks like we have a pool of 528 air over most of England with the air flow being drawn in from France? Or would the air be coming from too far south? Sorry, I'm not too good at this!

    The Countryfile weatherman mentioned a question as to whether the cold weather might make an appearance again but said he'd talk more about it next week! I'd love to see another snowy spell before the spring
