  1. I think areas south of Manchester will join the fun by late morning.
  2. The intensity has picked up nicely and the wind is a bit lighter.
  3. Looking at the radar, it is like a trough that stretches to Lincolnshire and the Norfolk coast. https://www.netweather.tv/live-weather/radar
  4. Hopefully as good sign for later. Visibility reduced now as I can't see the Etihad anymore.
  5. It was probably one of Moki's booming sessions!
  6. Showers very close to me and the sun is about to disappear.
  7. Light snow is falling in Piccadilly with the sun out as well. The breeze blows the snow from the rooftop of the building opposite my flat. I have never seen this before in the city centre. Proper powder snow.
  8. A few snow flakes in the wind. I think I might just catch the northern edge
  9. I can see it from my window. The horizon gone pink.
  10. I think southern parts of Man like Wythenshaw and the airport area may well get it.
  11. Nice shower is showing east of Manchester but I think it will narrowly miss me as it has a slight southwest direction. By the way, it is extremely icy here and I was pleased to see all the snow has survived in Piccadilly gardens
  12. Indeed, I have seen worse charts. I like the GFS by the way, the cold air doesn't leave Scotland at all and by 170 hours it comes back down. The Greenland high is better orientated.
  13. Still seems to be heading for Yorkshire but even more noticeable is the recent development west of Denmark. This should affect the east coast tomorrow. https://en.sat24.com/en/gb/infraPolair
  14. Yes, we will probably miss this just to the south of us. Need to look more north. Tomorrow the wind will turn proper easterly.
  15. Are we seeing a Humber streamer starting to form?
  16. That's a narrow window of opportunity. Grab it while you can I say!
  17. Looking at the visible satellite, you can see a streamer has developed between the southern tip of Norway and northern Denmark. Seems to be moving west/southwest towards Yorkshire. This may be of interest for our region this evening. https://en.sat24.com/en/gb/visual
  18. The best thing is that my balcony is east facing so even with the sun coming out the snow won't melt. haha
