    Morning, Sean. Yep, the low is still looking rather potent on this morning's Models. The GFS has a centre of around 995mb and the ECM a centre of 990mb, with some rather steep pressure gradients. Looks as if you're right in the firing line again mate. The Depression doesn't appear to be quite as deep on the UK METO, however.

    That's a great suggestion, I'll put it to Paul :lol: Anyway, Looking at the radar, the action seems to be over for my region today. Having said that, there is another cell that's just to my South West, but it seems to be weakening IMO

    Hi Paul, I'm glad you were able to confirm. As you say, it was quite an impressive storm indeed. The hail has stopped now, but there are still some good claps of thunder. My wife, who was out in it at the time, reported seeing cg lightning too

    Looks as if it's going to be very similar day to yesterday for my region wrt any storm activity. So, I'm expecting the odd shower or two but very little else. Best of luck to the rest of you storm lovers

    After a dull and cloudy start, it's turned into a rather nice day here. Due to the Westerly breeze, it does feel a little on the cool side when the sun hides behind the occasional cloud, but it's pleasantly warm when the sun is shining. Good to see the grass beginning to look green and healthy too.
