    Thanks, UKStorms I've just been looking at some pictures on the internet of the Walnut Orb weaver and they appear to be very similar to the spider that's in my picture. Do you know if they are harmless? In other words, should I be concerned that I have these creatures in the caravan?

    This is getting agonising! The storm activity seems to be getting closer and closer to my region with every radar update. After some earlier rain, the skies do seem to be clearing to my South West, however. Temps are currently at 28c.

    Phew!! it's absolutely boiling out there. I've just finished cutting the grass, which was a huge mistake as I'm literally dripping with sweat now. I think I shall try to spend the rest of the day indoors.

    Looks as if the UK Meto had the depth of the depression spot on all along. All Models appear to be in agreement and are now suggesting a depth of around 1000mb. which means it will be windy but not significantly so. It's used to always be the GFS that over exaggerated the depth of these systems and then downgraded them nearer the time. However, It seems to be the ECM that's throwing out these mega storms in F.I. Anyway, we got there in the end mate

    Nice one mate There's not a lot happening here atm. The clouds appear to be bubbling up nicely, but I'm still waiting for my first shower of the day. I wasn't expecting to see anything until later in the day, so there's plenty of time for something to happen.
