Hi Stu, going by the latest radar image, it looks as if you could be in for quite a show mate

Rain just arrived here but still no electrical activity. The radar is still looking quite promising,though, so I'm not giving up just yet

I've not had chance to look at the radar for a while, but I must say, I'm feeling quite optimistic now. It could be a late night for me.

There's some serious intensity to those showers that are in the South. I'd certainly love to get among them

Crickey Just looked at the radar, after having a short break, and I cant believe the activity that has reappeared for parts of the South coast. It's beginning to look like we are in for a very interesting evening.

Looks as if there is some electrical activity just off the North East coast according to the radar

Thanks Craig Unfortunately, my poor health won't allow me to travel too far, so I'll never get the chance to experience the spectacular weather as you guys are. The best I can do is enjoy the magnificent pictures that you kindly take the time to post on here, which make me feel like I'm close to the action. Thanks mate, they're much appreciated

Nice one Can I ask how close you were to the storm when you took those pictures? I was wondering because those bolts of lightning look rather dangerous

Just been observing the radar, and I'm rather surprised at how quickly these storms seem to be moving Northwards

Yep, the radar looks pretty good for some of you on the South coast. For those of us farther North, it looks as if we're going to have to be a little bit patient as any potential doesn't look like reaching us until later in the day. I have to say, though, it's nice to be able to get back to a bit of storm/radar watching. Anyway, good luck all

Not amazingly warm here with the current temps being around 11c. However, since there much less wind than of late, it feels very pleasant indeed in the sunshine. We desperately need some rain though.
