Come on now, we could have some excitement Friday if those storms in France decide to drift up North into the Uk. Please let's all be nice after all, you are all usually a great bunch so please no more nitpicking!!

Why Do Some Feel It's Wrong To Like Severe Weather?

Yes John. I am going to lock this thread now as it's really starting to get silly . -
Why Do Some Feel It's Wrong To Like Severe Weather?

Not to worry I realise this is a very touchy subject and some members do go a little over the top. It would just be nice if everyone could just respect each others opinions without causing an arguement. -
Why Do Some Feel It's Wrong To Like Severe Weather?

Oh my, please don't argue! I created this thread due to the fact this conversation was invading another thread. Please try and be more civilised to each other. Thank you. -

Jane Louise replied to Coast's topic in Storms & Severe Weather
Really thought I'd get a thunderstorm! The sky looked so thundery and dark. But alas, all I got was a few heavy rain drops with the wind picking up! it's heading SW. -
Ok, some have had fireworks and some of us haven't !! But...... we still have tonight and tomorrow To all who have had storms well done! and for those who haven't keep everything crossed, use your reverse psychology and you never know what may happen! Remember though how ever exciting it is please do keep safe and don't forget to share your videos and pics.

My Netweather storm risk is looking good for tomorrow but there's no mention of the 'T' word from the Met office for my area . Nothing from Estofex again tonight I think they've all gone on holiday or have gone storm chasing lol.Looking forward to Nick F and Brickfielder's forecasts and all the lovely charts Coast and a few of you other members post up. Thank you to all for keeping us updated.

Ok I've started a new thread for the coming storm potential in the next few days. Good luck all and I hope we get our storms. http://forum.netweat...-3rd-july-2012/

Well folks, looks like there could be a lot of fireworks in the coming days and not just for the 4th July ! So here's a new thread to start the ball rolling and I wish you loads of luck .. Also if like me, you don't get your storm then please head over to the 'No storms club' where you can rant and rave as much as you want! Now let's keep this thread cheerful as there's some good storm potential to look forward to. Keep safe and enjoy.

What Kind Of Lightning Detector Do You Use.
Jane Louise replied to Jane Louise's topic in Storms & Severe Weather
Hi syed As others have stated Netweather is great also have you tried a radio tuned into a non station on medium wave as Pete has mentioned. -
Don't give up hope yet Robin!! you may have a chance tomorrow Overnight tonight the showers continue in many regions, slowly pushing northeast, which means tomorrow we start with showers already heavy at times in the east and these will again develop more widely as the day moves on. Perhaps tomorrow will see less in the way of showers in the south of the country for a time at least although we do need to keep an eye on the risk of some thunderstorms pushing up from the continent into the southeast later on. http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=news;storyid=1153;sess=
