not sure how far behind the front, the clearance is, sometimes leaves a lot of cloud
yes, we either have lots of snow, of severe frost, the two are not likely together as long as the falling snow is happening. We'd have to be either in 1963 or Alaska

just had to dash into work (around 600yrds away) as I'd remembered no-one had winterised the nursery and garden centre for severe frost (could be down to -8'c here if the cloud clears quickly enough) , very spooky!!

A bit of a stretch i think.Still you can never rule it out with deep snow cover and if skies clear early enough to allow more night time radiative cooling.
but for that, we'd need the front and its cloud to bugger off south as fast as possible, but then we get less snow...so it's swings and roundabouts lol

Not much going on here, the odd flurry, but mainly dry, and we're under the green bit
I fear another disappointment coming on

Doesn't look like it's gonna pivot any time soon?

According to netweather's own app, there is a 0% chance of snow here tomorrow

ok, at 400ft above sea level and it's drizzly rain, i've not even bothered to mention this 'even't to anyone, as i know it's not an event.
If the next ice age happens, come to the coventry area, the glaciers advancing, wouldn't stand a chance!

I still have excitement regarding the gradual impact of the ssw...it takes time, there’s a lag effect, it doesn’t just suddenly happen!...but I’m still excited!...anyway, according to the GEFS / ECM mean ...for sure it WILL become much colder again later next week from the north following a less cold or dare I say..milder blip?...and I’m thinking southerly tracking jet? with fronts bumping into in situ cold pool over the u k leading to snow events..well, that’s my hope at least!...strap yourselves in for the type of ride we haven’t had in recent pathetic winters..fingers crossed ️
I don't know, the "ride" of disappointment never seems to end here

I could do with a bit of mild breezy weather atm.
This constant grey and 2-4'c is really horrible and I don't feel inclined to do anything in the garden, and I cannot go to the allotment because someone I have been in contact with, has had Covid, so I still have another 6 days isolation left.
So, even if it did snow, I'd still be stuck here looking out of the window
I can't see anything remotely different to what we've been having the past few weeks, so I might just go back to bed and dream of walking across the River in 1991 in Nuneaton lol
