This really annoys me. In the postcode forecast it tells me it's going to be -1'c tonight here. Then I play the video on the same page and it's says between -6'c - -7'c!!! So I've just had to go all the way into work to fleece all the bedding plants on my day off!! Why can't the BBC just post the absolute minimum temperature, so folk like me who rely heavily on the weather at this time of the year, can make an informed choice about what to do with thousands of bedding plants overnight? http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/ See for yourselves!

Not a huge amount left to come but, how damp lucky are we?

We deserve this, it's been such a terrible winter for snow, for 3 years now! What do you think to the main band? will it be snow? Must be dragging colder air down from the north?

Have faith, i thought we'd only see rain. I had no idea this could happen, and as the night cools down, it's sure to turn to snow where you are too

must be getting on for half a cm now, and it's really heavy!

The wind is gusting really strong here. Just lost a couple of fence panels :-( Still not been able to repair the ones from the last lot of gales. This winter is a pile of shyte! :-(

Soft hail shower just passed through, followed by snow, then rain. Might be interesting tomorrow. Hope the meto are wrong!!

why do we have to keep seeing this? does it really come to the fact that we cannot have winter until spring? This has been the most evil of years' model watching ever :-(

Why does there always seem to be snow showing 5 days away? It never gets any closer.

You can bet March will be bitterly cold but will be just warm enough never to get a snow event. Summer nowadays (and even spring warmth) is getting squeezed from both ends into a 2 day wonder (and they're on separate days!) We'll see about tonight, but I'll not hold my breath :-p
