  1. Time to put the razor blades away chaps, It WILL get much colder with a real treat instore towards the end of 170h. Just relax and enjoy, give yourselvs a 12 hr break from the models. I'm not coming back until at least the 18Z today
  2. Look at the latest 06Z output from my weather time machine model. These charts are valid on xmas eve 15Z the models say this is what my house will look like, yeah I know........... It's still in FI! Better make sure the cat is in. :smiliz19:
  3. Yes, whatever happened to Dave allen and his grebes............. sorry, totally off topic.......... I'll be a good boy now...........SIR! For me, I'm wanting a good blow (BEHAVE ) I'm watching that 940mb beast at +120 wishing it ever eastward! I must be crazy!
  4. There in exactly the same "rezz" position they were 2 days ago
  5. Oh dear, More non plausable trash in Formular 1, what rubbish.
  6. Face it, for now wind and rain are firmly in controll. Often very windy and Increadibly mild.
  7. Putting all the FI cold aside for a while. I really think the approaching LP at 120hrs could cause a few problems. It only needs to be 100 - 150 miles further east which could be pretty serious. This needs watching!
  8. I nearly swallowed my entire face when I saw that chart!
  9. Although It's in the FI section the thing I really like is the block to the north is so pronounced that the azores high is nowhere to be seen (pushed of the bottom of the chart) How festive :smiliz19:
  10. Yup, I'm VERY wary at the moment and aint trusting any model beyond T96+ Maybe a little harsh but thats the way it feels right now....... now where did I put that seaweed!
  11. Steady now For those that are intreasted, after veiwing the FI section of the 18Z I will be offering free prescriptions for valium and prozac, I think a lot in here may need them..... Yes that includes you Mr Sussex!
  12. If anyone remembers my post earlier this year, I photographed one in my back garden in mid january. Two days later I found him run over on sunningdale avenue EDIT..... Sorry It was December the 11th... Heres the thread
  13. To be honest, I'm looking forward to the prospect of a stormy winter. The last few seem devoid of gales. A snowy spell would'nt go a miss too!
  14. Very nice to see you putting the effort in again Ch. Really enjoyed this thread last year although I did'nt contribute. Keep up the fantastic work, here's to a great winter season of lamp post watching Ric
  15. Bloodie heck, all we need now is the doom monger Gray Wolf to make a post. WINTER IS CANCELLED..... GO TO YOUR ROOM UNTILL YOU'RE READY TO SAY SORRY! HI PETE
  16. -61ºc north east greenland UK you say........... oops Highland -28ºc Netweather tip of the day........................ If you want to type the degrees celcuis icon i.e 21ºC then for the º mark engauge your numeric lock, hold Alt and on the numeric pad type 1086 and release Alt. Looks better than 21C
  17. Good on him for having a go, braver than me. As for the highlighted, why are people so damn concerned about punctuation and speflling on here. If the post can be understood then people should lay off. I aint the worlds best speller, people have had a jibe at mee too in the past and It's damn annoying. If you read this Mr Holmes I'm sure you will agree. (had a joking dig at him on another thread about punctuation) Netweather tip of the day........................ If you want to type the degrees celcuis icon i.e 21ºC then for the º mark engauge your numeric lock, hold Alt and on the numeric pad type 1086 and release Alt. Looks better than 21C
  18. Had a lovely storm here today around 2 ish, was 8 strikes per min for a short while. Only dropped 2mm of rain though. Another one for the signature It's been a fantastic year here for storms for a change.
  19. Be careful, you will upset Thundery Wintry Showers. He took a pretty dim veiw of me when I opened a topic not too long ago "Meto are at it again". The thread was eventually colsed. I'm a coldie at heart but the way the meto produces LRF's and the total lack of description and the reasonings behind the forecast helps no one, especially those that don't have a great understanding of the weather. With time it's this bunch of people who's backs will be rubbed the wrong way hardest, the very people the met office target, joe public.
  20. Is that really you grey. lol Me too, I expected similar values to 08 at the end of melt season, Are we on the rebound? WAY too early to tell, give it ten more years!
