No, storm ISHA is still developing way out in the Atlantic at the moment. What you will be / are experiencing is this cold front coming in overnight, as has been forecasted. Looking at the chart, it suggests the wind strength dropping back once the cold front moves through. ISHA is still well out, as can be seen on the fax chart: And developing nicely on the global view: Stepping through the fax chart you can see the progression into later tomorrow for ISHA: Midday Sunday Midnight Sunday THEN, the next inbound deepening low (not expected to be as deep as ISHA) gets ready to have a go after ISHA: Midday Monday Midnight Monday to Tuesday Tuesday Midday

Morning All, a grey start to the day heralding more akin to January weather later in the weekend and through the week, of course I am talking winds and rain. I think the cold weather in the US will have a lot to answer for by the end of this week, through the increased speed of the jet stream. Anyway, it is what it is, the overnight low a mild 0.3°C at: 00:00, currently 6.1°C, RH76% with a fresh breeze in from the SW. From Above On Golden sands, already a fair amount of white water

Weather Satellite Imagery
Dorsetbred replied to Mark Pentler's topic in Weather stations and equipment

Now of course the Raspberry Pi seems a good core for such a project, unfortunately it was a passing interest, now satiated by the availability online of images from Global satellites. -

Open plan offices are great for spreading germs with people walking around coughing and sneezing. the one I worked in had 12people with a range of 10ft around me, and as you say the small meeting rooms used to cram as many people in as possible for video calls were ridiculous in size. The aircon was cold on the top floor and warmer each floor you descended. Not to be missed, now I have my own space, and time to spend as much as I want outside in fresh air.
