  1. Morning All, still some local flooding, but in the main things are moving again. The overnight low of 3.2°C at: 08:27 has risen to 6.0°C, RH95% with a light breeze in from the N, with some pleasant warming sunshine, to dry things out a tad. From Above On Golden sands a fine looking morning

  3. I am not surprised, they'll be a huge amount of run-off from the earlier rainfall. Some images around the area, including Wareham. Traffic chaos as roads blocked by flooding WWW.BOURNEMOUTHECHO.CO.UK Heavy flooding is being reported in the area of Copper Dean Roundabout.
  4. HAHA, like it, that was typed in the rain, slippery fingers. What a downpour, all the roads in the local Poole area are badly flooded. At one spot on Herbert Ave, the water is running across the road as if it were a river, its about 160-250mm deep, so that's really slowing things down. The run-off from the heath has the road at the bottom of ours flooded with about 150mm of water across the road.. The rainfall graph is a "cracker":
  5. Absolutely hissing down, all the toads are flooded around Poole. In a store just now and struggle to hear others talk the rain is making so much noise on the tin roof.
  6. Morning All, ready for a decent soaking, floods, blocked roads, power outages, yes, I thought you were. So here it is at the moment. The overnight low, well down in single digits was 3.1°C at: 08:20, showing with clear skies and no easterly the air is fairly cool. Currently 7.4°C, RH96% and no air movement at the moment.
