  2. Morning All, after another sub 5C overnight today has warmed, but is slowing quickly as the cloud builds, showing nicely on the beachcam this morning currently 14.2°C
  3. I shouldn't worry it caught a lot of services out, including the comment I made earlier, it is what it is, and we are often challenged to determine "What's next!"
  4. The scene unchanged from this morning really, a few spots of rain in the wind After a peak of 15.0°C at: 11:56, currently 12.8°C with the wind having increased in strength from the SSW
  5. Looking damp down your way Knocker, with it's currently direction, I suspect we wont be under that lot today...
  6. Same thing happened here, all it created was an increase in windspeed..
  7. Morning All, overcast and a recent shower, with some more inbound, the overnight low managed to reach 4.5°C at: 03:45, currently 6.1°C ..with a very light breeze in from the SSW..
  8. Morning All, a clear moonlit night has allowed the temperatures to drop to 5.0°C currently after 15mm of rain up to midnight..
  9. Yep as Mapantz noted hovering around the 10mph region right now here..
  10. Here come da rain, waiting for the quasi-linear convective system to arrive in a while...chilling at 9.3°C
  11. Morning All, a light rain shower and partly cloudy, after a chilly night with the low at 0.7°C at: 03:56, currently 9.2°C And 0.6mm of rain so far today..
  12. The lack of wind, even though in from the north, not overly warm but still pleasant out in the garden, with the occasional light rain temperature peaking at 13.7°C at: 13:38
  13. Some light rain from the low as it disappears in to Europe (for a holiday)! A trio of brave folks with no wet suits braving the water, given it is currently 12.0 °C which is the air temperature, they're brave....!
  14. Under cloudy skies, the beach seems a little more popular today than yesterday.. Currently 12.2°C, with a light northerly breeze..
  15. Pressure is now rising and the windspeed is beginning to drop back as the wind swings away from the W slowly..still looking GLOOMY down on the beach.. Temperature 9.9°C and light rain AND I still have all my fence panels though some were well shaken but NOT stirred!
  16. From the local rag A BEACHFRONT car park has been closed as strong winds batter Dorset today. Boscombe Undercliff Drive car park has been closed and BCP Council has warned the piers may need to be shut later as gusts of up to 60mph are expected.
  17. Morning All, a tad breezy this morning! A peak of 61mph @Portland and 46mph @Bournemouth Airport as their reported highs. Air pressure is still falling as the low tracks across the UK, so my peak this morning of 31mph could still disappear Local beach conditions this morning look....CHOPPY to say the least Locally rain showers, interspersed with drizzle and the temperature 9.5°C
  18. Calendar check, is it really almost June, doesn't look that way on the beach today?
  19. Yup the rain is increasing as it moves eastwards AND the wind is certainly picking up as the pressure drops noticeably
  20. Doesn't currently look like much of a rain maker down here, does it Knocker?
