  1. Morning All,no sub zero temps last night with the overnight low of 2.3°C at: 05:07, currently 13.1°C And full on sunshine, although the breeze has increased noticeably since early this morning..
  2. Morning All, clear skies again th morning, with a frost on the car again this morning, with the current air temperature of 0.2°C at: 05:57..the breeze this morning having shifted to an offshore, shown by fewer waves this morning on the beachcam The early morning satellite shot suggests clear skies across the majority of the Uk..
  3. Yep that onshore breeze is certainly keeping things cooler along the coastal fringe, todays peak here was 13.6°C at: 14:06, very similar to you..
  4. Lightning Ball, UFO or ............ DRONE? Mysterious round shape spotted in sky above beach - is it a UFO? WWW.BOURNEMOUTHECHO.CO.UK A MYSTERIOUS round shape that is believed to be a UFO was spotted above Durley Chine beach last month. With clear skies last night, my bets are that it NOT a lightning ball!
  5. 10.3°C at: 11:07 in full sunshine although over the channel I see some cloud..but the breeze is keeping the flag straight out
  6. Well it seems the overnight low gave it one last push to go sub zero after I last posted as it reached -0.1°C at: 06:03, currently 3.1°C but as the beach cam shows this morning noticeable wave action as the wind has picked up a tad..the beach raking hasn't been done this morning (a shabby beach to begin the day!)... Boscombe this morning showing a clear beach, and a fair degree of what looks like sea mist offshore
  7. Morning All, a clear start with the overnight temperatures dipping, currently at the overnight low of 0.0°C at: 05:58, with a slight air frost...and a light breeze in from the NE..
  8. Sea mist still present, as the lonely sun worshipper seems to have packed a large lunch...lunch anybody?
  9. The beach is just for the birds today... having warmed to 4.8°C currently
  10. Morning All, after a cloudy night temperatures for the first time in many days have been above freezing point. Currently at the nighttime low 2.9°C at: 06:05..with mist being the starting order for the day..
  11. A high today of 15.6°C at: 14:39, the radar suggesting some showers breaking out in the north of the area... Paartay time on the beach barbecue smoking well
  12. Some interesting cloud development to our north, shown nicely on the sat image, bubbling away nicely,,,
  13. Morning All, another frost night, but it's getting to be a close call now, with the low of -0.4°C at: 05:01, currently 7.9°C with it being clear and sunny. The loneliness of the sun worshipper this morning.....
  14. Morning all, after a warmer night, although subzero at -0.8°C at: 06:10, it's warming nicely currently 8.2°C and a very light breeze in from the ESE. Seemingly some local fog patches reported at Bournemouth airport, and the AQI has just shot through the roof, as the wind veered from E to SE..suppose the beach view might explain some reason for that as the direction changed to a more onshore....and there's plenty of sea fog out there...
  15. A warm day peaking nicely this afternoon at 15.6°C at: 13:12, some patchy cloud this afternoon, but overall some great growing weather apart from the lack of rain, with the RH34% lower than yesterday, even with the breeze in from the SW helping it recover to a current 49%..Some late afternoon folks grabbing the last of the days rays...
  16. Morning All, a clear sunny and cloud free start to the day, after an overnight low of -1.8°C at: 05:56, currently 6.4°C, so warming nicely. Yesterday the humidity reach 36%, and even for a coastal fringe that feels low, need to get out and water the plants this morning as little hope for rain in the immediate..
  17. Same here, with -1.4°C at: 06:31, currently 10.3°C with a very light breeze in from the SSE. Humidity or lack of is the current point, around 40% and still falling, confirms the need to water the seedlings to bring them on, and then cover them at night to avoid the frost...with sunbathers AND deckchairs back on the beach
  18. Same here Knocker apart from the frost piece which we do have after an overnight low of -2.1°C at: 06:24, now currently 2.1°C.. The freshly raked beach unspoilt, whilst the low tide is a feast for seagulls (especially as there is nobody around to scare them off!)
  19. "April showers, bring May flowers...", all good apart from the fact somebody forgot the rain bit..
  20. Dunno 'bout yooz guys, but this month so far has been extremely dry, and overall so far this year we are down on rainfall figures.. Is April loosing it's label as a month of "April Showers" .... I wonder... Looking at last year Rainfall for month = 35.0 mm Looking at Rainfall so far this month = 4.6mm
  21. Morning All, after an overnight low of -1.9°C at: 05:36, the sun is slowly pulling the temps up, currently 4.7°C, with hazy skies. Here's hoping for a better chance of some showers, as yesterday they died a death as they approached the area.. The beach is just for the birds today...
  22. Experienced 22 drops of rain earlier, mind you had to search to find their mark, and that was only because the wife put the washing out! Come on now it's growing season and the lack of rain is as bad as constant deluges, but neither is a real b***ache.. Anyway after a peak of 10.7°C at: 10:41, currently down at 8.3°C, AND no measurable rainfall..doh! Clearly SOMEBODY trampled the raked surface down on the beach today..
  23. Morning All, another chilly night down to -3.0°C at: 06:14, currently clear skies, sunny and 4.7°C.. The has been raked this morning and as yet has no visitors, with a harbour tours boat is moored at the pier (not seen that in a while)
