  1. Well fingers crossed we will see upgrades and see something like that it certainly would be a dream for Christmas
  2. Would have to be even more exceptional than that to hit the heights of 2010 when we had over 2ft of level snow here in North East Derbyshire.
  3. Haha not quite will be weird going to the Riverside with Boro supporting friends and seeing Wilder managing them. Was gutting how it ended but that is how it is. Talking of Thundersnow I heard it was total chaos with 10cm + In many parts closer to 20cm around Buxton as per usual with drifting in the wind and Thundersnow there. Hadn't seen Thundersnow in years then see it twice in a day, last time I saw it before that was several years ago when driving through the Peaks now that was an experience 60mph winds total whiteout conditions Thunder and lightning it was very scary to say the least especially when it became hard to tell where the road was.
  4. The window above the Chinese has been ripped off its hinges and blown out and the wall at end of the street has been blown worst storm in living memory here.
  5. Near the Headland at Hartlepool winds must be 80-90 in gusts never ever experienced anything like it this is as close to a Hurricane as you will get in this country. There has been hail and lightning and power flashes and 1 of the phone cables have been ripped out. Cant sleep as the wind is that bad it is shaking the windows and walls, It takes a lot to unnerve me but I am genuinely worried that the front of the house may go if it carries on like this with it directly facing the wind. I have seen a tweet on twitter from a guy from Hartlepool who said in his 58 years he has never seen anything like it so that tells you that this is 1 hell of a exceptional Storm and the Red warning was more than justified.
  6. I am stuck in what can be best described as close to a Hurricane as we get in this country never experienced anything like this what a time to be on the coast winds gusting between 80-90mph absolute madness. Missing the first snow of the season too
  7. It is the worst I can ever remember in my life time not far from the Headland at Hartlepool it is life threatening conditions out there. A shop front has gone and shutters ripped down some poor woman's shed roofs gone and her window has been blown out. Seen her daughter asking if anyone can get to her mum to help heard lots of sirens. I love my extreme weather but when it sounds like your windows are going to break and they are rattling and the walls are too you know it is serious.
  8. There was a huge flash visible from near the Headland at Hartlepool winds must be gusting between 80-90mph a shop front on Raby Road has been ripped off a lady has posted that her mums shed roof has ripped off and her house window has been blown our and telephone cables have been ripped down and hitting the window there are trees down reportedly as well. I cant recall a storm as bad as this in my life time just hope the worst has gone because with the windows and walls rattling it is getting quite frightening for the missus and kids.
  9. The wind on the coast is as bad as I can ever remember it must be blowing 80mph+ I will be amazed If there is no serious damage.
  10. Managed to SS angry looking sky from that camera great storm and some huge flashes.
  11. That is where I am it was tropical type downpours at times with the rain rushing up out of the drains thankfully it eased off.
  12. Think the heaviest rain has been here torrential for long periods I wouldn't be surprised if there is flash flooding in the rother Valley.
  13. There were strikes to the North East south and West you couldn't make it up. I cant even get out to chase as I have been very poorly with Covid so it is very frustrating to say the least.
  14. Knew that was coming I was in Skegness this morning and travelled home and was cloudy and drizzly when I got home they were miles out in their forecast same old. Take it we have no chance of storms now.
  15. Can see them storms from Ingoldmells in Lincolnshire where I am at the minute.
  16. Yes it is a very steep road and not for the faint hearted still.
  17. Can see that to the east of gone dark towards Lincolnshire/Nottinghamshire
  18. Can clearly see something is firing up over Lincolnshire way as per usual it has gone dark In that direction.
  19. Strikes showing around Bristol way hope that is correct and there is something brewing and pushing further north east.
  20. Feels Absolutely horrific here to say the least on the border with Sheffield the humidity is ridiculous how we have not had a storm yet I do not know.
