Personally I’m hoping for a wet spring for once so that this fire season isn’t as bad. If it’s dry and warm with lockdown making the outdoors even busier it’s gonna be a busy season!
It’s been an odd one here. In terms of days of falling snow we’ve had the most in quite a few years, but the most we’ve had is about 2 inches. Plus we’ve had quite a few days of below of average temperatures so I guess we can’t really complain.
It’s a real shame it doesn’t look like there will be a decent breakdown for this spell. Any fronts with snow potential look like fizzling out before they get here while the air gradually gets warmer.
Just managed an ice day today -0.2°C Max.
looks like a good streamer setting up just to my south, unlucky for us but @WillinGlossop should get some good snow!
Managed to get a cm out of overnight showers. Very obvious bands now on the radar with large gaps in between. Have to be lucky today to be in the streamer!!
I will admit to being slightly disappointed, but that's the weather for you! At least now these flurries are sticking again, hopefully will wake up to enough of a dusting to turn things white at this level.
The showers are in that classic densely packed dandruff type feature atm. Saw that in 2018. Showers should pep up later/tomorrow will be interesting to see how lucky. A few days of radar watching ahead!
