  1. Yes that would be perfect. Just enough rain and warm to help everything green up quickly.
  2. Really wish we would get some proper rain now. Arsonists are out setting hill fires.
  3. Down to -6.2°C earlier, impressive for April! Killed off a few more plants that survived the winter cold spell though
  4. Yes certainly underestimated for here at least. We got down to -4.4°C this morning, currently -3.3°C
  5. Just hoping the rain that’s nearly here makes it. Won’t be much but hopefully enough to dampen the ground.
  6. Hi snow_joke. Can you tell where abouts it is exactly? I’ll let my manager know and we’ll be out tomorrow if it’s on our patch
  7. Personally I’m hoping for a wet spring for once so that this fire season isn’t as bad. If it’s dry and warm with lockdown making the outdoors even busier it’s gonna be a busy season!
  8. It’s been an odd one here. In terms of days of falling snow we’ve had the most in quite a few years, but the most we’ve had is about 2 inches. Plus we’ve had quite a few days of below of average temperatures so I guess we can’t really complain.
  9. It’s a real shame it doesn’t look like there will be a decent breakdown for this spell. Any fronts with snow potential look like fizzling out before they get here while the air gradually gets warmer.
  10. That streamers just setting up in the right position for Saddleworth now. Let’s see how much we can get out of it!
  11. Just managed an ice day today -0.2°C Max. looks like a good streamer setting up just to my south, unlucky for us but @WillinGlossop should get some good snow!
  12. If the rest of those showers pep up the same as they’re crossing the Pennines and keep on this line we could be lucky.
  13. That was a nice chunky shower, we're up to an inch now. I’m satisfied as everything is nice and white at least.
  14. Managed to get a cm out of overnight showers. Very obvious bands now on the radar with large gaps in between. Have to be lucky today to be in the streamer!!
  15. I will admit to being slightly disappointed, but that's the weather for you! At least now these flurries are sticking again, hopefully will wake up to enough of a dusting to turn things white at this level.
  16. A few decent snow showers but not amounting to much yet. Even though it’s -0.7°C it’s melting on the paths and roads as it’s not quite heavy enough.
  17. Anyone under the heavier line from Altrincham to the south Wirral? Radar looks good in the east, really building now.
  18. Just missed out on an ice day today, max temp 0.1°C. But I’m sure we will manage one tomorrow
  19. The showers are in that classic densely packed dandruff type feature atm. Saw that in 2018. Showers should pep up later/tomorrow will be interesting to see how lucky. A few days of radar watching ahead!
