Well hopefully we will get some of the white stuff by the end of the week but i think i'll wait till the day before when it comes to thinking of precipitation. it's not even set in stone yet nevermind cold biased predictions of snow for certain locations before....I've pretty much been dissapoined for the last 5 year of membership on here when it comes to what is 'about' to happen but doesn't so i guess i've learnt my lessons wheareas some people haven't on here. Hopefully we will get some snow though.

Is this the area in the north of spain where the climate is very temperate like the uk? It looks wonderful.

Good photos but to be honest of you it really was crappy snow, horrible slushy snow where when you stand on it you never got the crunch of the other day...I don't like Transitional snow.

A very nice hill to climb Longridge fell, a lot of forest on it....The Trough of Bowlands is a beautiful area most don't know about.

Pennine i attempted to get up over the top this morning, no luck i was one of the first though...I've just come home over the tops on the back lanes with snow still on them.....quebec road. Halifax had snow most of the day today, amazing massive flakes later on but i know in Mirfield where my mum is it rained all day.

They are some of the most amazing photos, and to think if i had time off work i could be up there so easily.

Brilliant little fell to climb, my gf lived very close to Longridge so i have been up there....And don't you think looking into the chipping valley is like looking back in time? Beautifull area the trough of bowland i know a fair few people there.

The fog has returned in a fashion and the temp has dropped to -2.4

only -1.6 here, fog has cleared very early too considering i'm in the Pennines although i can see some fog in some of the valleys but not all.
