  1. Some stormy weather is forecast on Monday afternoon through to early Tuesday morning for Northern Ireland, Western and Northern Scotland. The Met Office have a Yellow warning issued for 9am Monday to 9am Tuesday: The Chief Forecaster's assessment: The 06z GFS shows things looking rather serious for Western and Northern Scotland with mean speeds reaching 60mph in places, And gusts to be over 85mph, There's still a chance that this could upgrade and downgrade still but something to keep a watch on.

  5. The late Sunday into early Monday Storm has pretty much vanished from the GFS and now looks more likely that it won't happen. A low pressure system is still forecast to pass over Ireland, England and Wales on Sunday though bringing strong gusty winds of 50 to 60mph.
  6. GFS does seem to be downgrading the storm and moving it more South still a chance of some windy weather though.
  7. Looks like at the moment only the GFS is showing interest in the storm it will either drop the idea later or the rest of the models will catch onto it.
