  1. Sorry Connor but good! Cant take this dry cold any longer.
  2. DP there around 0c though and XCWeather reporting rain/snow now.
  3. Thats a shame, even my forecast was mostly for rain though. Culdrose has DP at 2c whilst Newquay Airport is at -3c!
  4. Friday: A little light rain and sleet, perhaps a little snow too. Cornwall's Forecast: http://cornwallweather.moonfruit.com/#/cornwall/4573724902 Channel Islands Forecast: http://cornwallweather.moonfruit.com/#/channel-islands/4573977985 Twitter: @kernowweather where we now have 61 followers and growing daily.
  5. Haha right I'm gonna look back and some earlier suggestions that I've had.
  6. Well we are 2 regions often underlooked with forecasts compared to elsewhere. Whilst Cornwall isn't the closest we can share quite similar conditions actually. All feedback has been positive thus far. And has has been said, if spotlight can cover the islands then I don't see why I can't. We will soon be hitting 1000 site views. Very positive to me for a site without a full domain yet!
  7. Hey mate, it's not too bad actually. Chilly but quite a nice bit of sunshine here today too and of course it feels nice in the sun. We only had a little snow unlike the North Midlands which had much more.
  8. Thanks for your thoughts. I'm considering forecasts for Devon too but I don't want too expand beyond that. I want it to be kept purely local and for the far south and southwest. There are plenty other sites for the uk and holiday locations which IMO most of them are probably a flop. I know people really appreciate the localness of the current format and that is how it will stay. How about swandcimet or swandciweather.co.uk
  9. Hi guys thanks for the recent domain suggestions for my website. A couple more... How does Cornwallandislandsmet.co.uk Or Kernowandislandsmet.co.uk Or Cornwallandciweather.co.uk Or Kernowandcimet.co.uk
  10. Great to see it dry for the coming couple of weeks but with it staying cold it ,Evans it will be difficult to enjoy the outdoors for too long. Either have it cold and snowy or dry and warm!!!
  11. Tuesday: Early Sunshine for Cornwall then Cloudy. Cloudier, little brightness for the Channel Islands. Channel Islands Forecast: http://cornwallweather.moonfruit.com/#/channel-islands/4573977985 Cornwall's Forecast: http://cornwallweather.moonfruit.com/#/cornwall/4573724902 Almost 60 followers now at #kernowweather (twitter.com/kernowweather)
  12. Yep, expect light snow flurries for much of the North/Central Mids throughout much of today.
  13. I havent got round to considering them all yet and sorting it out. Will do this week though. Been busy packing and just getting home and finishing off work.
  14. Im back in the Midlands guys! Gonna get some order restored to this thread. Noticeable lack of snow at Cradley Heath railway station then becomes increasingly noticeable just 1/2 mile up the road into Quarry Bank High street where you gain some altitude! Was it really that marginal? ahaha. Im not used to this bitter cold either. I need to go back to Cornwall.
  15. Well im back in the Midlands now. The ground is suddenly lit with snow from about Bromsgrove northwards! Was nice to leave Cornwall with some sunshine this morning. Was most unexpected but most welcome! My website will continue to update as normal however! No matter where I am, that wont stop the updates! Nice to see even those from the Bodmin Railway even following us now.
  16. Indeed, tonight and tomorrow looks good for some light perhaps even a few moderate snow showers for the North and Central Midlands.
  17. Indeed, much sunnier here today than expected and the same across Cornwall but Sat24 suggests cloud building in again soon maybe. My last day in Kernow today until at least the 28th April as I go back to the Midlands for the hols. Ill still be around in here though. This thread is far better than the Midlands one.
  18. Such a good signature I expct NO Moaning from ihatetherain for some considerable time. And when it does turn more unsettled that its suddenly going to be a washout and look autumnal.
  19. Afternoon fellow South Westerners! As many of you know I run a website providing quick, easy forecasts for Cornwall and the Channel Islands. Having received over 700 views in just a few weeks and with no official domain ive been rather amazed, and have really noticed how more hits are being recorded during the severe weather especially the snow for Jersey a little while ago. However, this week I want to give it an official .co.uk domain. Right now its cornwallweather.moonfruit.com but id ideally like the wesbite name to incorporate the Channel Islands too but I need a domain thats short, catchy and something people can easily remember. Any Ideas? Cheers.
  20. Monday: Cloudy, dull and Bitterly Cold! Cornwall's Forecast: http://cornwallweather.moonfruit.com/#/cornwall/4573724902 Channel Islands Forecast: http://cornwallweath...ands/4573977985
  21. Yeah, just seen a photo from home and looks similar to what your describing. Quite incredible differences in short space but shows how much marginality there was early on in this snowy spell. All a bit too much marginality for the southern half of the Dudley borough and thus into Worcestershire and beyond etc.
  22. Were you around the Merry Hill/Quarry Bank area? If so how is that fairing?
