I've asked you this before. Examples with this scenario where the gfs has been like this? I'm not saying its right here but I don't get why it should be so wholly discarded? Is it so absurd to have more than 3 fine days. This time of year is when the Atlantic is at it's quietest and thus high pressure will hold on best. Again I'm not saying the gfs is right but you seem to be totally dismissing it. Risky in my opinion. I'd love more reasoning/examples behind your thinking.

I've not seen any model which predicts that. You just assumeNorth west winds is automatic Cheshire gap. That's not going to be case. Take a better look.

Sunny now as southern England has stolen our storms today. Never mind we just end up better off by being sunnier.

Whereas the CFS has been saying almost otherwise. TheModels flip and flop very regularly. I'm not believing any model at this range.

Warm in the sunshine today despite a strong southerly wind. Aprils seem to be the warmest, wettest or now the windiest we know if. Anything that begins with a 'w' lol. On a good note, best chance of thundery activity is over the west Midlands region tomorrow, perhaps east Midlands late afternoon, if the NMM is anything to go by and GFS agreeing. Nothing substantial but may provide a little interest before more dry, sunny and warm conditions ensue for the rest of the reliable time frame.

Temperatures reached around 16-18c here this morning before the rain. It was a lovely morning even though there was a strong wind which was WARM anyway! Overall a fairly average week ahead but feeling great in the sunshine.

Very mild this morning and rather sunny actually! Wont last though probably.

Oh how lovely and mild it is right now. Whilst things might not be quite as settled as wed hope in the upcoming future, it will at least be average temperatures at the worst and there will be sun with a little rain at times. Standard Fayre really!

Tbh they never really shows 20c, just the odd run did. We will certainly fair better than those up North but sadly not quite the totally settled pattern we were hoping for but certainly not bad and feeling very pleasant if not warm in the sun.

Conor sure this weekend has downgraded a bit but it will still feel considerably better. Also next week will certainly be at average if not slightly above. Also it has been that sunless. Lots of hazy sun before today this week, gorgeous day last Saturday and before that weve had some fair decent days. Things are not as bad or poor as you depict!

Id like more reasoning to your thoughts about this? It seems your just going against the forecasted, generally settled outlook especially for the south. Is it pessimism driving your thoughts behind this or do you have examples of situations in the past of where this has happened? This isnt a dig at you etc but I feel this is based more on doom and gloom and just seeing cool and wet weather as the form horse here for no real reason.

Yeah, rather annoying. When I get some time Ill have a look into it but I feel I may not have much choice with this one unless something can be done to sort out the editing properly or whether Iphone needs adobe for it. Do you mean HP to the west. HP to the east would generally deliver warm weather.

If the GFS 12z is right then very little rain in the future for the Midlands especially for the West Midlands. Although its been cold, when was the last time it properly rained here guys. Since I returned on 26th March, no rain yet. Seems a fair chance most of our rain will be eaten up elsewhere this week then a good possibility things will turn mostly settled for a time this weekend then more into next week. 15-17c possible this weekend.
