I see you got up early to take those pics judging by the time on the bell tower! wise choice , a few hours later as you know it was all gone! Took some pics myself but only of the garden etc.

Well I will join the long list for snow reports , had a bout 3 to 4 inches of snow in Evesham when I woke up this morning, lovely winter wonderland albeit late.! I cant remmember as much snow in April before,certainly in my life time, most of it gone now except for some northfacing shady places! Great stuff!

The BBC video weather forecast shows a general snow event overnight across most of the south midlands moving into the southeast by dawn, a slightly different picture to the "static" BBC graphics.

Ask any four people in a room what they think the "summer" will be like and there answer will be about as reliable as the prediction from the MetOfifice :o Its anyones guess! Warm ,well yes but its a safe bet that the summer will be Warm on one or two occasions and above average rainfall is a little more tricky to forecast, but im sure somewhere it will be above average. Im not knocking the Metoffice , but I do feel lrf are always open to criticism, and by putting lrf in the for front of the media ,your gonna get it! :o

Its sleeting and snowing here, and very strong winds, correction, its like a blizzard now and temp is 2.3c and dewpoint is 0c...perhaps a sign of things to come!

Hi, well as I dont live a million miles from you I know the area very well and Im glad to say there is a resonable chance of some of that "white stuff" on top of the Cotswolds and Malverns in the next few days. I must say Saturday at the moment looks good as thoughs winds will be coming from a northeast direction so blowing the wintry showers well inland from the North sea. Sunday, looks promising as well with perhaps a more organized area of Sleet and Snow but there is still a question mark over that at the mo. Im going up the Malverns on Saturday so heres hopein!!

An interesting 24hrs if you like rain, cold ,floods, that about sums it up!
