  1. Ensemble Temps (Cumbria) bottoming out 14th Dec - concerning rise in the run up to the 25th. BBQ (wet) weekend.
  2. lol - whats not to like with Keswick this time of year? Just thought I'd cheer one or two up after the Murr bombshell. Scotland and NE looking excellent. Possible NW streamers for Friday 13th? All to play for - eyes down for the 06Z
  3. No - I don't think there is ever a right time for cross model agreement until nearly in "nowcast" territory. But looking at the temp ensembles they're only going one way after the recent (and this weekends) double figure rises. In fact Sunday's weather will seem that a these charts are a bit on the bonkers side and won't verify at all. (I hope they will......)
  4. It's loony chart season. They're out there so it's fair game.
  5. Yes absolute epic GFS 06Z Lets get over this weekends deluge - get the cold embedded in and a week off were in buisiness. I've seen Friday the 13th Chart but not posting up - interesting - but in cloud cookoo - the SE will experience conditions more accustomed to the Gorms at 900m asl....!
  6. Frontal reloads after but that's getting to much into FI territory.
  7. Cumbria Ensembles Only going one way after this weekends deluge. Mean flattening out 13th December
  8. *BANK* One week today - That's Seven Days. Oh GFS what could possibly go wrong?
  9. Yes - Serious Temp difference this weekend. Then all downhil from there to mid Dec. Bonkers GFS Temps
  10. 06z carrying on the wintery theme for mid December GFS has the fun and games starting as early as the 10th. Transient quick ppn laden front whips in on a NW giving some near blizzard conditions on the tops.
  11. Oooops. Heres the 06Z Scandi more to the NE less ppn. "More runs needed" as they say.
  12. GFS 06Z Well Well - Winter arrives albeit 10 Days off. Scandi and Icelandic LP jouining and opening the floodgates. PPN mainly on all the usual suspects maybe favourable at 300 to 400ft asl Cumbria? *BANK*
  13. GFS 00Z The Heat The Flood The Freeze? Transition to say the least - nothing too extreme apart from some potential rain totals Friday 6th Dec. Hint of Scandi attack 11th. edit: absolute belter of a thick winter frost up here yesterday and today.
  14. +1 We'll leave you well alone - we can endlessly wallow in our on self pitied thread.
