    Clouding over in the west, looks like there may be a threat of showers later.

    Much better day than yesterday, nice sunny spells and pleasantly warm, possibility of outside chance of thundershowers later, but think I'll miss them

    Saw the sun for 5 mins today, just as it was about to go down on the western horizon. Here's hoping I get more than 5 minutes showing of the golden globe tomorrow

    Forecasted very sunny conditions early afternoon, but can't see it happening at the moment, very overcast and gloomy, but muggy. It's even started to fine drizzle. Hopefully conditions will improve.

    Yep, your right Rob and fizzling out now, shame it had potential to cause some fun if only it had skipped over the pennines. Not just snow events that can be frustrating and fruitless lol :-x Defintately a good evening for a BBQ!!

    Yes, the 5pm radar http://www.ribble-valley-weather.info/index.html still shows it to the east of the pennines, but who knows they seem to be clustering together and maybe they could shift west all of a sudden. I hope so Jet black to the east when I look out of my window, but still clear as crystal to the west.

    I can see those hungry black storm clouds just knocking on the door to the east of where I live, but to the west it's almost perfect blue skies - I think it'll stay sunny for the rest of the evening now. Shame i'd like a thunderstorm to round the day off

    Overcast morning with the slightest hint of precipitation - now cloudy with sunny spells - dont think we will get a shower this afternoon. Central area's are favoured.

    This weather is sublime!! - just come in from a short 10mile bike ride up 'in ter hills gorgeously sunny and temps about 21-22C - this is much better than 28-30 we can get in the height of summer.

    Fantastic pictures Chaser well done. To think how innocently it started out, and then it developed quickly into something very angry indeed. I can't imagine a storm where there's lightning every other second, over here, you have to wait minutes between flashes and then the odd rumble or two. Keep up the good chasing.

    Heavy hailstorm shower about 1 o'clock, frequent showery bursts since then, with the odd strong sunny spell inbetween showers.

    Another mainly "Gorgeous" sunny warm day, did a lot in the Garden today ... probably just aswell, cause it looks downhill this week and a lot coooooooooler.

    Unbelievable we have a dry spot! still cloudy and dull, will probaby start raining again soon. Roll on Summer.
