    Pleantant sunrise, few scattered clouds, but expect a band of showers to pass through from mid-morning to early afternoon (according to the forecast). At present, very nice.

    Cloudy and overcast 30 mins ago - but in reference to a thread posted in the café awhile back - the sun has got it's hat on now.

    Sublime nice time to have taken a few days off work.

    Best day we've had for awhile, long sunny periods, interrupted only sparingly and briefly by fluffy white cotton wool clouds, nice and cool, not too warm. Just the way I like it.

    Cloudless skies now, with full moon, that seems to be rising very quickly lol - A very brief almost non-existant shower earlier this arvo, should be gorgeous tomorrow.

    Showers still lasting into the early evening, but should die away soon. Cool and breezy, distint Autumn feel to the air. :-o

    Frequent blustery showers, although hopefully the HP ridging in from the west, should start to knock these on the head by late afternoon.

    Out of the blue, lightning flash and rumble of thunder, yet partly clear skies overhead??? Seems to be a very isolated strike.

    2 storms for me today aswell, major one at 16:45 to 17:20ish - stranded in Town Centre - frequent forked lightning followed quickly by ear splitting crashes of thunder. And then one kicked off about 7pm ish and that was the 2nd best I've seen this year. The 1st one was the best I've witnessed ever!!! :shock:

    Is everybody from the Greater Manchester Area slowly switching their PC's back on lol - Wow ! what a storm that was, hit around 16:45 and lasted until 5:40, frequent CG's and massive thunderclaps. Most amazing electrical storm I've been in. Was cycling home from work when it hit, had to seek shelter under a outdoor market stall lol :shock:

    It's called the locality of storms lol Intermittant heavy drizzle/rain at the moment, but not storms unfortunately.

    Phew! It's muggy and mild tonight. <<<<me, not embarrassed just so bloody hot!!! Fan's on, not improving things much, I feel the need to buy one of them Air-Con units from Comet at £159.99 are they any good???

    Heavy rain, started to ease off a little, thought the thundestorm was over, but as I type the biggest flash and rumble heard so far, cracked out in the leaden grey skies.
