    Heavy, but sporadic rain starting, still muggy and humid. No thunder storms yet.

    Yes, humid it's overcast now, but it was a most gorgeous morning, ealry afternoon, but since about 2pm the clouds have rolled in and it looks promising for a good downpour. Just need that spark the light the touch paper.

    It's dark, cloudy and pretty mild. However a promising week next week has been put on order.

    Cloudy but frequent sunny breaks - looks like a nice morning although it's going to cloud up later on. So I'm off out lol

    Rain today - quite heavy this morning - but skies have cleared late evening and now - intermittant cloud cover with good breaks. Hopefully Sunday will be better than today.

    Strange sort of day, heavy cloud cover promising what feels like a downpour, but only getting the odd spot and spittle now and again. No sunny spells for a good few hours now.

    This is not where I live - although it's dark clouds with showers and intermittant sunny spells - but I've just been listening to SportsXtra (Radio5) listening to the cricket match @ Lords (London) and it's just thundered there. I heard it and so did the Commentators :-o

    Huge mass of hungry blacks clouds frustratingly slipping past me to the south west, probably distributing their contents on Tameside or South Manchester.

    No great show for the North West today, just rain, rain and more rain to start with, drier in the late afternoon, but still gloomy and dull. No storms that the South had, think it's lost it's punch.
