  1. Just had a breif period of wet snow, but it's not cold enough for it too settle. The wind is blowing it sideways though!
  2. Yep if you look at the 6pm radar http://www.meto.gov.uk/weather/europe/uk/r...adar/index.html , the small blob of red about 7 miles East of Manchester represented the Thunderstorm we had here :o very localised but brilliant while it lasted.
  3. Not snowing here YET!, but we just had a Thundershower, with lightning and extremely strong gusts of wind, wet snow being blown horizontal, just a shame it wasn't really heavy snow, it would have been a whiteout for sure. The nights only just begun
  4. The 4pm radar's showing some pretty beefy showers skirting down the Western Fringes of the North West, should be hitting Lancaster by now
  5. Nice one Murphy keeps us updated, hopefully we'll get what you're getting now in a few hours
  6. Some heavy dark clouds passed a few miles south of Oldham, Manchester area probably got it, I'm quite high up so I can see in the direction of Manchester Airport and Jodrell Bank, and there was at least a downpour albeit only 5 mins worth I think.
  7. Aw wow! - Great Pics, I'm as jealous as jealous can be It's hard to imagine it snowing up their in Scotland when it's so mild down here  still I've had my fair share last week so can't grumble.
