  1. Looks like our first shower of the day is about to rattle through. The previous one missed us, but got the Peregrine chicks at the top of the Cathedral. Peregrine Falcon's Live Stream WWW.SALISBURYCATHEDRAL.ORG.UK These powerful birds of prey have made the Cathedral their home.
  2. Yeah, I nailed our rusty bunnies down after that NE'ly. We're going to try to sit out later. It is blowing a bit, but we'll give it a go.
  3. My Met app has gone from the odd shower for tomorrow to a low % chance of showers all day. All courtesy of this trough, which we might catch. Don't mind either way. Could do with some rain though. This morning's amounted to nothing, as expected. Then we're in good shape again for next week by the looks of it.
  4. Cloud encroaching from the West now, but as with every day this week, a better day than was forecast.
  5. Headed down Fawley way today to see Mum. Socially distanced in the garden, of course. Would've been Dad's 79th, so didn't want her to be on her own. Our end of the New Forest was the busiest we've ever seen it on the way back. Another decent day weatherwise. Cloudy blips are fading now, as it cools so looking like another cracking evening. In other exciting news....two new purchases this week. Both life changing. A retractable hose and a cordless mower. No more kinks and we're saving the planet. Kind of.
  6. I drove back through the forest yesterday evening. No photos of course, but the stretch from the Landford crossing to the Downton fork was absolutely stunning as the sun was setting.
  7. Another cracker just in time for the BH weekend. A bit of a blip later on, then more HP for next week. I've got to break lockdown shortly to pick up the Father-in-law from Southampton Hospital. He's been in for a big op during all this, which has been rather terrifying. Nobody else can go, so I'm getting released into the community for the afternoon. Exciting.
  8. OH was just outside in the garden and heard a couple of rumbles to the South.
  9. It's sliding West of us at the moment, but we shoud cop it in a bit. We dodged the first heavy shower by delaying our walk again.
  10. Still went shorts this morning, but delayed walking until 7:35am to avoid the heaviest rain. Wasn't too bad after that. The grass seed is still loving it.
  11. We're right on the edge of the cloud. It's been another cracker today.
  12. Yep, gave up. Came inside to find the OH watching what I assumed was YouTube. Turned out it was BBC1.
  13. Not quite as balmy as our usual import evenings. Flipping cool out there We've to come in, but as soon as Gardeners' World is over, I'll go back out.... Rock 'n' Roll.
  14. A couple more from this morning... Not expecting much tonight, but I'll be out in the garden. I love it that these imports often coincide with weekend evenings. Sitting out with the camera and a few beers is pretty perfect in my book.
  15. Followed us back on our morning walk at 8:30ish, before it started raining.
  16. Ask in the Covid thread Leon1. They're all experts in there. Actually dont. They're not. Follow the gov.uk guidelines. I can see the cloud to the South from here....just.
  17. Report from my Fawley correspondent (Locked down Mother), says she had a few drops.
