  1. Nice to put a number on it.... must fix the weather station. Also got my new bins delivered today, so trying to adjust to how clouds look with a sepia tone. So far, it's a bit like having a permanent sunset filter on.
  2. Feels a bit like the Saturday of whatever weekend Glastonbury was (not that we were there, but were in the garden listening)... Scorchio day, but cooling down and the breeze picking up as the cold front moves in. Not quite the same difference in temperature yet, but I don't think it'll be too hot tonight. It's lovely now.
  3. TMS are now talking about distant lightning at Lord's. The following boom came across on the radio. Playing on for now. Quite right. Edit : They're off. Looks miles away on the radar.
  4. Big fat drops falling at the moment from the cell South of Salisbury. Got quite heavy for a couple of minutes.
  5. Sorrry, had to do some work. Nope, nothing. In fact we were putting the washing out around then.
  6. Shower moving through now. Mate on WA says it's lashing it down nr Fawley.
  7. A few from last night, just South of Salisbury. Mostly intracloud stuff, but an impressive light show none the less.
  8. Possibly distant booms. Not sure. Constant lightning to the SSE and now SW. I am currently stood somewhere in a field, in Wiltshire.
  9. There's another small cell popping up over Poole. Not sure whether to wander over the fields to check out the flashing to the South/South East, or wait to see if the Poole cell sparks up. Getting bitten to b*ggery in the garden, so might go for a walk.
  10. Tom, look South East. You should see distant flashes soon. I can see them now just South of Salisbury.
  11. Go and stand outside looking South. I was literally going inside and there was a flash over my shoulder. I've come back out and it's pretty constant.
  12. What a life... And here's me looking forward to my apple at 3 o'clock.
  13. Bishop's in town, Andy. Our friends, who teach at Hounsdown nr Totton, came up for a BBQ yesterday. They're also done and dusted. They're off to France in a tent on Wednesday. Nutters.
