Ellingham Show cancelled for tommorrow, now. Another one bites the dust. -

Boardmasters cancelled down in Nookie this weekend, due to Friday and Saturday's warning. It does look pretty horrible.

It got us while we were noshing on our fish and chips at Southbourne... Then it moved on, for a nice walk afterwards, where I bumped into a chap I know that's moved there from Downton. Back home now and it's chucking it down.

The centre of the low is still out in the Channel, just East of Salcombe. Not heading NE, as yet from what I can see. Horrible here. No morning walk for us today.

Ha. I'd be the opposite. Quite happy to see some decent lightning when camping, but would happily bin off the wind and rain. Can't make the call for you, but it doesn't look very pleasant tomorrow. Frequent, potentially thundery downpours and windy. Looks a right mess.

This got us in the end, so we've had to come in. Nothing exciting though, just rain. Edit : heavy rain now. Great for the garden.

Yeah, we're watching a fair bit of convection going on out to the West. We should be OK, but it's blocking out our Sun from time to time.

My daft neighbour has been down the brewery to pick up a polypin for a family BBQ tonight, but they've given him a mini-keg; so 18 free pints. I'm telling him that I'm still working, but he's shouting at me and trying to pass me a pint over the fence.
