  1. We had that until about an hour ago. All clear now. Pretty much perfect, as Summer days go. Bought a tower fan earlier, for next week.
  2. Blue skies above here, but the Sun is out West behind all that cloud. Very disappointing for a Friday evening that was looking good. Still sat out, but not quite in the way I'd planned. Edit : Sun's out. Better late... Blah, blah, blah.
  3. This isn't part of the plan. I want to be outside in 35 mins. ?️
  4. We were stood out watching the young starlings on the roof, so we could see it coming over Clearbury. Still going now, albeit much lighter. Full Sun too. jy must still be doing his little dance.?️
  5. Yep, pretty heavy too. Just as I was about to step out of the door.
  6. It's dark out to the West at the moment. I was going to take a snap, but I'm saving my memory card for next week's Supercells.
  7. Got pretty wet down on the coast earlier, but got home to a decent afternoon. Sat watching the tops of the train of showers in the distance, way out over Somerset. Overhead cloud in the pic below has just cleared and we're back in the blue.
  8. Only kidding @matt111 I grew up near Fawley, so I can say that. Off to Southbourne for breakie in a minute. Bit of cloud rolling in now, which is a shame.
  9. Nobody knows Tom. Next week looks better than this week and that's all I care about. Keep an eye on Wednesday, but too early to tell at the moment. Looking forwards, there are no heat waves showing on the charts that I'm looking at, but what do I know. I have friends in Hampshire too and I don't tend to listen to them.
  10. Right on cue at 5pm, the Sun has come out. Looks decent at the Rose Bowl too. We'll have some of that.
  11. Sun is trying here and there's a bit of a clearing out in the channel. They might actually get a WC Cricket match in at the Rose Bowl today.
  12. I can see it to the South West.... Said to the OH a while ago, 'here's your Summer on the horizon'... Bit of a white lie. Just the end of this to get through first...
  13. Nice one. The Met Office have put the South East of our region under a Yellow for the afternoon/evening.
  14. Just got back in. No rain really, just the odd spot. Bumped into my birdwatching mate on the meadows and we saw a Hobby, which I wouldn't have spotted. The Swallows, Swifts and House Martins were having field day with the midges on the river. Then on the way home, I saw a wet fox in the field carrying a trout. It saw me, dropped the trout and ran off. Then when I moved on, it came back for it. Here's the fox's fish... And here he/she is in the distance, coming back for it. .
  15. I suspect we'll just end up with a drizzly mess. At least I hope that's all we get, as I'd like to go for a wander at 5. Got soaked this morning.
  16. Yeah, Sat24.com shows that on the latest images. Still cloudy here, but it looks brighter to the South.
  17. Euro4 is going for some pokey showers down South later on this afternoon and into the evening. Other models seem to vary from nothing to a fair bit less. Suppose it all depends on the Sun showing it's face later on to the South East. We shall see.
  18. Heavy rain here now as the rain band pushing in from South East has met the NNE to SSW surface winds. It looks pretty cool running through the radar animation.
