  1. I can't quite make out whether it's sinking, or expanding and intensifying. We'll go with the latter ,shall we?
  2. I think it's sinking south now. We've only had fine flakes for the last hour, or two, as we were on the Southern edge; but now it's pepping up.
  3. Cheers for that. Not expecting a freeze until after midnight, so hopefully OK getting back too.
  4. Thank you for that. The A338 is clear round here (nr Downton). I can see it whizzing by from here.
  5. The main roads down South seems OK, at least around here they are. We're still going to head to the BIC tonight. He made it down from Scotland overnight, so we can manage from Salisbury surely.
  6. Being a Yorkshireman, I'm supposed to know all about them, but I can't say I've ever had the pleasure.
  7. Can't take a cap on this tablet, but that little low from knockers fax shows up well on Earth.nullschool. https://earth.nullschool.net/#current/wind/surface/level/orthographic=-4.78,49.06,3000/loc=-2.632,50.172
  8. We all knew about the first two, but ferrets is a new one. Too funny.
  9. We can never really trust it because Dean Hill is U/S, so it always puts doubts in your mind. I'm impressed that you've got a notebook though. I just forget and fall into the same trap year after year.
  10. Totally agree @Climate_Eyes It's all been a bit odd this evening. We've had friends texting all night asking what's going on. I honestly have no idea.
  11. Steal away. It's not mine anyway, I think it was Jesus wot first coined it. Either way we both need a haircut.
  12. Because you kept the faith. Same here. Heaviest it's been all night. Not great, but it'll do.
  13. Our dusting is improving, even though the radar looks bobbins. No idea what's going on.
  14. Something I did notice on the met forecast earlier was it almost back building our way, after it appeared to have moved through. Thought nothing of it at the time, but if they've nailed that I'll be well impressed.
  15. Seconded. It's FUBAR. Actually, they could repair it, but choose not to. Settling down the hill from @CheesepuffScott in Downton, Wiltshire.
