  1. They seem to be shifting in a bit more of an Easterly direction, so you might get caught yourself Lyn-M. Whatever they're doing, the Eastward movement is helping to clear this muck above us, albeit very slowly. Sunshine, convection and a near miss is far more preferable to this rubbish.
  2. You could well be right Tom, as the excitement looks to have shifted North today. At least that's what the Euro4 for 15z is suggesting. Maybe a few showers in the west of our region. I can't say that I'm that bothered, as the weekend approaches. I'd just like to see some sunshine.
  3. Boys and girls out west.... Is it brightening up out there? It looks like some of this muck is trying to shift on Sat24. Admittedly, we've got the most to lose.
  4. Bits and pieces jy, but nothing heavy. It all seemed to fizzle out here then pick up North of Salisbury. Still, we get a bonus evening in the garden now. OH is having lunch at the Yew Tree tomorrow... She was up at the Radnor Arms for lunch today. Life of flippin' Reilly.
  5. Thanks Lyn-M. I bet it's a nice drive too. Hello CE. Yeah it's drizzling here now, after trying to brighten up. It didn't try very hard though. There might be a bit of a gap on the way in an hour, or so. Here's hoping.
  6. Quick question @Lyn-M, if I may... When you post your West Bay pics, how long does it take you to drive down there from Sherborne?
  7. Two Sherborne people... We love Sherborne. If we ever move, we're moving to Sherborne. Light rain here. Let's get this muck out of the way and see what pops up later.
  8. If it's not happening for you coasties, it ain't happening here. More gardening in the gloom this evening.
  9. Hello jy. Hope all is well with you, soaking aside. Yes, it looks quite tasty to the East. Still, we did OK over the weekend. I got my own soaking taking those snaps above. Great fun. ?️
  10. N'owt doing on that Salisbury cell that popped near Win. No flashes, no bangs, just moderate rain.
  11. Hang on. Something's going up to the SE. Can't really see from here, so going for a wander. Will report back in a bit.
  12. It's been a cracker here today. I'm sat out watching the high level whispy cloud edge North, while the lower patchy stuff heads SSW. Not liking the look of the muck heading up from France. Could be an evening ruiner.
  13. There's a cell rumbling through here now Tom. It should be on it's way to you.
  14. Another small cell is moving through now. Just moderate rain. Nothing electrical. Edit : Heavier now and we have a rumble.
