  1. Dodged the rain so far from this lonesome shower. Didn't get wet on our walk. It's gone pretty dark though and I can see rain failing over Cranborne Chase way.
  2. It's been lovely and warm since 3ish, but clouding over. The met now has the heavy shower symbol for 5pm. We'll see.
  3. The heavy rain that was forecast for this morning turned out to be just drizzle. It's looking pretty clear between the two cold fronts, so hopefully a decent enough morning and afternoon.
  4. We were in Exeter last night. Woke up to bits of blue sky and cloud which started to clear as we left at 11am. Brightened up all the way home, so stopped off in Lyme Regis for a wander in the Sunshine. Back home at 2:30pm for a Sunny and breezy afternoon in the garden. Pretty warm too.
  5. Nice bit of blue heading this way from the North West and the MO symbols are trending the right way. It was showing a cloudy afternoon, before a sunny evening. Now showing sunny intervals.
  6. Got a proper soaking on the walk into Downton this morning. Wet weather gear when it's too too warm isn't pleasant. BBQ later
  7. We did and it was lovely. We popped in to see some friends in Christchurch on the way down, so didn't get there until later. Smashing sunset from Mudeford Quay and back home before 9pm.
  8. Nice first thing, then sunny spells, now cloudy. Heading down to Avon Beach this evening for a wander and hopefully a bit of late Sunshine.
  9. Keep you eyes on the skies on the South coast. The Red Arrows have just flown over. On their way to Cowes week, I guess.
  10. A few rumbles to the South from over Ringwood way. It's very dark in that direction. Sunny here now, with another line of less intense cells coming into view from the West.
  11. Ha. Same here. It looked like the end of the world on the met site this morning. All changed to the odd heavy shower now. We'll see what happens if the Sun pokes through. Still, it's great to see the East of our region with a Tornado symbol in it.
  12. Dodged the rain again this morning. All sliding North East of here, leaving it bright and breezy. Might be a different story tomorrow afternoon, if this nice little feature slips through our region as forecast below. Picked up on the NetWx-SR at 15Z. A rumble, or two would be a nice end to the working week.
  13. I'm assuming that this line of showers is going to fade over Cranborne Chase, as it usually would. We've got friends arriving for a BBQ in 20 mins.
  14. Did you catch the storm out there on Sunday 22nd? We were out on the East Coast and watched it heading in from the North from our balcony. There were a few decent rumbles and a fair squall when it came through. Watching everyone scatter from the beach was pretty funny.
  15. While the Met & Euro4 has any excitement clipping the South East this evening, the Hirlam does bring a bit of shower activity further West at tea time. Sat24 currently shows a weak affair crossing NW France. https://en.sat24.com/en/fr
  16. Back home and we're catching the first of the line of showers from the South West. Pretty heavy so far and nice to hear, but the bulk of it will slide further North. ?️
