  1. Wasnt expecting anything but we manage to scrape some of snow showers which is lovely. First snow of the season and a good dusting over!
  2. Should of been called "Slack Agnes" this storm lol. Not much in the way of wind or rain. We've even got lovely blue skies above us
  3. Looks like those of us in the SE of the region are going to escape this named storm. A tad breezy and only a quick spot of rain so far despite the radars showing plenty of rain over us since 11am!
  4. Is anyone getting heavy rain yet ? Just a bit of drizzle here nothing more. I always though Red and orange echos on Live radars what supposed to mean Heavy to Torrential rain ? which doesn't seem to be happening. Nevermind, pouncing it down out there now.!
  5. So far and despite red echo's across this area on the rain radars, the rain has not amounted to much here. Just a bit of drizzle earlier and a quick sharp shower 20 mins ago and just the odd spot of rain now.
  6. Awesome timelapse there mate. Those were planes zipping across I assume ?
  7. Hahaha another Nothing Burger event again. Slight bit of dizzle which didnt last but still sweaty. Not complaining though because its inevitable we'll be back to none stop garbage wet weather before long.
  8. I don't know about that, our house is typically too hot in summer and too cold in winter and very hard to get it heated up properly. As for the Early June spell, that was more tollerable for me personally because it was 20-22c in the sun, nice windy breeze to take any edge off and the house never really overheated. Anyway, lovely to get this weather after a naff couple of months. More of this please!
  9. Sunday was a bit meh here with plenty of cloud, much hotter and clear skies Monday. However the humidity is tough to bare. 26c indoors and I am litterally sweating buckets from every pore on my body. Feels nice and fresh outside, we've still got all the windows and back door open and its 1.43am lol
  10. Cold drizzly start to the morning and now bouncing it down with rain. Aweful.
  11. Yeah we've had about 3 or 4 hours of heavy rain so far tonight after a bright dry day.
  12. Nice sunny end to the day but rather cold tonight. Just been out slug hunting on my Lettuce, Cabbage and Sprouts and its very strange because the skies are pretty clear yet there is an uber fine mist falling in the air.
  13. I see the outlook for our neck of the woods is absoute tosh. Never ending trough stuck over us with a weak ass ridge building in again temporarily, giving the south east lots to smile about. At this rate we are going be stuck with trash through the rest of the year and no doubt winter will double down on a total washout. Yes we've had a couple of nice days but seeing the model output recently is depressing.
  14. Aweful night for sleeping. 2.45am and it hasnt gone below 19.5c here.
  15. What a scorcher today. 28c in the shade was the max today and its still 25c now. Very very sweaty here.
  16. The last thunderstorm was better for the lightning but this current one has more booms. Nice alarm clock though
  17. The rain just keeps coming barely stopped since this afternoon. Dreadful I tell ya!
  18. Best Lightning of year so far. Massive three pronged streaks as far as the eye can see. One of them sounded like it hit something as I heard a bang before the crackle and thunder. Brilliant.
  19. Bloody freezing though isn't it. Feels like a cold wet gloomy November
  20. Hi all, so the gloomy weather is prevailing aftetall but not very wet. Just a bit of drizzle here and there and still warm at 20.2c My biggest issue is the damn slugs getting relentless, even during the day trying to sabotage my broccoli, reddish and tomatoes, digging under my cage! I wouldn't mind but they ain't falling for my tactical beers supplies either lol
  21. Very nice weather today. Broken cloud but mostly sunny and a cool wind but very comfortable to be out and about. Bit like the start of June. I don't mind westelies like this at all, especially with the temporary rainy spells and days of sun. My god reading the model thread you'd think the typical Atlantic rain train was coming with endless gloomy wet and windy weather but that's not the case. Seems pretty similar to now. Fresh winds, the odd showers some days but plenty of sun in between. No baking heatwave but not terrible either.
  22. It did actually thunder a few times here at the start of the rain. Nothing special really. Temp instantly dropped by 8c.
  23. Just blasted my area now. Like a blast wave from a shadow storm. No rain here yet but very dark, very warm. Top temp 27.5c
