As for the storms, have any of you ever had that funny feeling it will throw the unexpected at you, and take you by surprise....well thats how im feeling lol...
  13. very cloudy here, but...me not bothered as the clouds have some weird and wonderful shapes to them lol If we get any storms - bonus, if we dont i will sit and wait for next time, we only in June, plenty of time for more storms right round till novemberish time, and even beyond that storms have occured
  14. Pretty cloudy here, very muggy, hoping the sun wil break through Was a good lightning show last night, albeit short lived. @ Sunnijim - No matter where the storm is, where its heading or how far away it is, i just appreciate them all nowadays as we dont have the volume of storms like we used to, or the intensity like we used to anymore (but tht is my opinion though ). Having said that there have been some good ones the past few years though
  15. Just got back from travels around the Island (IOW) Stopped at Compton bay to have a look at the lightning, then went into Freshwater Bay and stopped there. Saw some pretty nice lightning and a few double CG's.
  16. Yea, was thinking that after looking at radar again, oh and Hi neighbour Ventnor downs, or maybe further on then there, where are you and Jamie going to head if you go out
  17. Got a few webcams to look at if interested http://www.mycampage.com/sandownisleofwightcam http://driftwoodbeachbar.com/webcam/ (You have to put it on full screen to get rid of the steak and chips lol, also the preset viewing appears to not be working, so again the viewing is not great)
  18. Years ago (in my toddler years) i used to be called the human barometer lol. When ever a storm was coming i used to have pretty bad asthma attacks. Today is no exception, so i will be disappointed if i end up in the NSC having a rant lol On that note if guys are out chasing/watching the storms stay safe but enjoying the show
  19. Im thinking of heading up Culver Cliffs when/if things start to kick off now have a new set of wheels
  20. Its more for the rainfall then storms i think Ben, h owever, rainfall with amounts forecast are serious enough to cause significant flooding..
