    Guys mind if i ask a few Questions. Do i still need to be concerned here on the Isle of wight, there is talk its going out in the channel so south may miss worst or do you think its track will mean south gets hit badly..

    Ok..another question, what time do you think its likely to hit/be at its worst (sorry for asking) but im at work from 6pm sunday evening to 8am monday morning (and thats the other side of the island aswell)

    Good Morning All Raining here and very windy, Almost has that Autumnal feel to the day. Not even my dogs want to go for a walk. Lets hope the weather perks up and we have not seen the last of summer.

    its absolutely hammering it down, but only seen 2 flashes of lightning and only one rumble of thunder.

    Something is going on above me, the skies are black, and the lights have dimmed twice now, but can hear nothing..back door open, dogs wont go out lol..Fingers crossed. EDIT The heavens have just opened up and lightning now

    Nothing here, just grey looking cloud and the sun pushing through now and again, its warmed up though and the breeze has dropped a little.

    Just took a walk along seafront from Sandown to Shanklin, lots of nice clouds around, much cooler today then of late with a fresh sea breeze. I shall live in hope of some storms today, even a flash of lightning will do Oh!! Good Morning All Coffee any1

    Ive lost count the times ive gone up Culver (IOW) to watch storm come up from france, only to see it break up go round the island and get fueled on the mainland..

    omg imma burst my stitches ina minute LOL!! can any of you guys remember back in the late 80's in kent we had awesome lightning that lasted for hours, i was sat on a milk crate with my parents watching it, last time i saw lightning like that was the supercell pass over the IOW few yrs back. EDIT @ 21.40 or was it early 90's, dunno cant remember, was soo long ago..

    Im the most southern side of the island (sandown) looking out to france. Had 2 more lightning strikes and thunder, but thats it
