  8. Well yet again is has took me ages to get home from work, road closures galore on the Island, sarcasm alert!! wonder what could of caused that..snow - nope!....council putting signs there for fun of it..nope!!... RAIN!!!! yes, god dayum blooming rain, what a surprise LoL!! So i whacked the music up, bare and grimed the traffic only to have my window tapped by an officer who was diverting traffic, i put the window down, said Oh! ermm hi officer, problem (LOL) ..His reply was, could you kindly turn the music down, my reply "sure but i need to de-stress officer, he said i beg your pardon, i then said "well officer, ive had a really hard day at work im exhausted and the flooding stressing me out even more, ...thankfully he just laughed and said we no and are all suffering from the weather but music was a tad loud, so yeah i turned it down, he thanked me and said have a safe journey home, ermm i couldn't resist saying, will i ever get there the traffic is horrendous, again he laughed and nodded and said good day and walked off...lmao..i just sooo could not resist lol
  9. I give up, weather you can do what ever you choose to do LoL!!, rain rain rain hmmm and more rain, some real hefty downpours last few hours on the island which again has caused some flooding issues. http://th02.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/i/2010/273/c/5/i_hate_rain_by_kitsunelovesryuu-d2zsas5.jpg (sums it all up) Earlier there was some beautiful cloud formations whilst driving across the island, and my mobile is pants when coming to taking pictures, (or it may just be me as me and technology dont mix)..
  10. Looking good on the Radar, some beefy showers. Will have to settle for listening to the thunder, and watching the lightning from comfort of my house, i have a cold from hell and chest infection.. Gotten rather windy here last 5 minutes
  11. Well i can honestly say todays hailstorm stopped me dead in my tracks whilst out driving, i couldn't see the road and the wind whipped up from nowhere..3 Flashes of lightning and huge thunder claps..did i ever get excited or what LOL.. Then it was all over in about 6-7 minutes.. Then back to working i went and thought if only that lasted for an hour i would have to go of sick at work for an hour just to watch it LoL

  15. Its bootiful sunshine here, with a light breeze, its safe to say i can go for a walk on the beach with the dog and also take a walk on one of the Island's famous fossil beaches Oh wait, i cant its high tide soon, i will go later
  16. Morning all, nice and quiet here on the island, the sun is out, but it will be short lived, high tide was not as bad as expected, however today's high tide could bring problems. . Morning stats 993.0mb rising - 1.3mb/hr 27.6 max gust (last hour) Soil moisture - 22.0cb Humidity - 88%
  17. Indeed, cant believe how relentless it is, getting to work has been a nightmare for me, but i insisted on getting there (i support young people with severe Autism) i was not going to let these guys down.. Lets hope for the colder days and nice crisp mornings and hard frosts cuz this rain sure is bugging the hell out of me now..and changing the face of the island somewhat.
  18. Will there ever be an end to this, lets hope so, bring on the cold days and the hard frosts PLEASE LOL .. Gusting a lot more now, with some pretty beefy gusts too, many islands roads closed and impassable, yet people still try and drive threw flood waters. 20. Part of the cliff has fallen in the Lake area taking out some stairs. The road at the top has been closed also. The island cant take much more. burrows underground and hibernates till June..see ya soon lol on a serious note, this is now the 4th or 5th report in the sandown/shanklin area of cliff face giving way, just below the cliff face is the sandown/shanklin revetment which runs for approx 1.5 miles and you can walk along it, this will now be closed to ALL walkers/photographers/reporters STAY AWAY FROM SEAFRONTS, DON'T BE STUPID AND TRY TO GET THE ULTIMATE SHOT LIVES ARE WORTH MORE THEN A PICTURE https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/1545594_463979743706279_2076785996_n.png getting worried, sirens being heard all over the island, will get more reports in as soon as i here something
  21. Same here too Karlos, getting really windy, and some gusts sound beefy lol Some friends of mine are heading to seafront to take pics (one of which is a islands journalist) so cant stop him im afraid, and ive told my other friends for goodness sake stay safe and right away from the seawall...
  22. sea water is coming over the sea wall at sandown again possibly going to close Sandown to Yaverland seafronts high tide is 5 hrs away yet Islanders stay safe and dont venture out along seafronts Please avoid driving over the Brading Downs islanders, getting very gusty and with the rain will make for treacherous driving over the hills
