was dry when woke up, didn't feel right lol now it gonna rain, so the radar tells me, dont evolve to much Karlos this rain is going to dry out, hmm maybe evolve so your Fins can be used as ski's aswell

It appears that newspapers have been doing too much of this And not enough of this I shall officially never read a paper again, and go by what ever mother nature throws at me when it in real life happens Well it has been rain free for a good few hours, however the radar indicates some more rain shortly, and Sunday/Monday has more rain on the cards too, let's hope mother nature is starting to dry out and give us some coldie days.

Well i can honestly say ive had enough of this weather, house now leaking in so many places i cant keep up with it, before long kitchen is going to be out of bounds. Relentless is not even a good enough word to describe this weather anymore... The island is suffering bad, umpteen road closures, so many places flooding because of high tides, sea walls collapsing, 3 reported cliff falls and 2 other cliff faces are unstable, Shanklin to sandown seafront revetment is now in the sea, so many guys seafront huts are now at risk of being crushed by falling cliff faces, its endless.. Oh and guess what, more damn rain, what a surprise, nothing new there then.. Stay safe everyone and stay away from seafronts at high tide, we know its fun and exciting, but loss of lives is heart wrenching for families and loved ones.

Hello Neighbor, Put kettle on LOL!!! will only take me ermm all of 5 seconds to get to your front door, not looking good again is it, driving home from work and yet again Morton road closed and several off the roads i travel on have some pretty big puddles, not even sure if will get to work in morning as there is now only one route open to get out of sandown (Yaverland) and even then they may close that off due to it being a seafront road..

Here we go again, the island wont take much more, have never seen so many road closures of late, flooding, with high tides and more rain next few days the island may just float away and wave as it passes Guernsey and Jersey. On a serious note, please take care everyone, and if going out to watch High Tides on coastal fronts please!! be cautious and stay away from the seafronts.

Me neither, ive come across enough flooded roads on IOW recently and everyone ive avoided and gone a different route, i refuse to drive threw flood water.

Well yet again the Island having problems with flooding, when will it stop!, only mother nature can answer that one..Rain dance, not on your Nelly...Cold dance...yup, gets wellies on dances in the rain hoping for colder weather and frosts now... Gawd ....Round 2 Hopefully wont be as bad, however its the rain that is of more concern, due to already saturated ground i think the island may just float away during the night, if it does saves me buying ferry ticket to France stay safe guys, hope you all had a great Christmas and not ate too many mince pies.

NOT having a round 3 The island would not cope thats for sure. Its relentless here, hopefully it will calm down soon, but there are some beefy gusts still, and quite a bit more rain to come, i have never witnessed such horrendous conditions on the IOW before, and The Islands Roads have done an amazing job in keeping the Island on the go, my hat goes of to you guys, good job
