    Flooding terrible here, a warning would not of gone a miss to be fair Quite a few roads closed and many only just passable

    Dready day here too, but mild, had back door open majority of the day, and the dogs just loved going in and out when they pleased

    I have 15 Tarantulas, and 2 of them are rare species, as for looking after them when you go away, they can be left for about 3 to 4 weeks, just ensure they have adequate water. They only eat once a month anyway, similar to there wild environment. Anyway back to the weather, it is mild here, but overcast, even got my back door open to let the dogs come and go

    Its a soggy Sandown here, but least it is mild and my Tarantulas love the humidity change

    Lots of I really dont fancy snow, however the Island seldom gets anything significant, and if we do its gone ina day Hope you all had a great xmas, and also hope you have a fantastic new year

    It can get to about 1c then the heating will go on, and even then it will be to take the chill of my house, I keep Tarantulas and putting the heating on for too long will mess up the seaons for them.

    MY god incredible thunder bolt, huge flash of lightning with instant thunder...it was that loud to be honest i thought a bomb had just gone off.....it shook the house, and now people are saying sandown that it was an incredible thunder bolt that was so loud car alarms are going off... WOW....i nearly pooped my knickers lol Yes, not been on in a while..been very very very poorly (thats un understatement) Hope all is well and ok, miss you all loads... Edited Was heard all over the island, people messaging me asking if i heard it, i said heard it...i thought my house was going to crumble with the intensitiy of it.....

    Gawd, ive been caught..runss lol But crickey that was an insane 5 minutes of intense winds and lightning with debris going everywhere, lots of damage reports coming in across the island too

    Wind has increase immensley last 3 mins, heading back out to watch this insane storm, grabs earplugs on ma way to back yard

    its gone absolutly totally insane here, unbelievble I am videoing it oh and hello guys, not been around, have had major knee surgery, which was not successful, and awaiting further surgery, pretty much house bound....huggsss to you all, miss forum like crazy, but health comes 1st back to the back yard to watch this, although my eyesight gone a bit frazzled, lightning sooo bright lol

    Insane here Edit, this is freaking my dog out, booming constant thunder, lightning extremely bright, pretty much daylight and so frequent cant keep count of the strikes....totally nuts here

    We have now headed to east cowes sea front and the lightning is insane, no thunder yet, there was loads of flashes none stop and we were all like ooo ohhh, then we looked at each and said that wasnt lightning it was the IOW festival lights, grrr, we got excited for a moment lol

    Plenty of lightning, sat up culver cliffs with group of guys getting lightning shots, there is a cool breeze in the last 20mins, many lightning strikes from clouds going up, and loads of CGs

    Some pretty good lightning here for about an hour, with some real deep long rumbles of thunder. Was worth driving out to see the lightning, headed to niton, ventnor, then back to sandown seafront for another cell that came over.

    Morning all Coffee is good and the bacon smells great The storm last night didnt produce as much lightning as i expected, however did get one brilliant shot out of 87 took (picture in storm thread) It very overcast and humid here. Temp - 13.8c and rising Humidity - 94% Pressure - 1003.0mb (rising 1.5mb/hr) Rainfall - 11.6mm so far today Dont think will see any storms today

    Well we headed up to Ventnor Downs, but that was not the best place to be, so we headed over to Brading Downs and i managed to capture this It was took from inside my car as the rain was to heavy to be outside taking shots. It is not the best lightning shot ive took - Camera = Fuji S200 EXR

    I am heading up to Ventnor Downs to see if can catch some lightning shots (i have a chaffeur as not allowed to drive)
