  1. You can actually stroke them, but you have to be very careful not to Swearing AGAIN them off......I've done it before but at that stage I was fearless.
  2. Ain't that the truth. Can I stroke your fluffy bumble....*Pets the bee*
  3. Looks like Female intuition has beat us all hands down then
  4. I wouldn't go as far to say mine is completely correct, I forecast the Atlantic to come back in during this week, not next week. Also the HP forecast for Christmas may sink too far North, I only had it skirting the South bringing dry cool weather there and More unsettled transitional Lows to the North of Scotland bringing some very short cold bursts. Although after Christmas I went for a week long cool spell before the Atlantic roars back in. We can never be 100% correct but we do try our best, all of us.
  5. Whatever floats their boat, I'd prefer a different coloured one
  6. I was surprised to see this on the news, we already knew there was a black hole at the centre of our galaxy.....if I were a betting man I'd say the doomsday prophecies wil now be in full swing, here come the hypes
  7. Wow, certainly wouldn't mind that big steak myself, although its probably twice the size of me nevermind my stomach, but I'd certainly put most of it away considering I used to order from MCd's 3 machicken sandwiches, 2 large fries and a big coke  . You wouldn't believe it with the size of me neither, Im like a stick on legs lol.
  8. Sounds great, I suspect I'll be brutle too.... I can bring my friend?...me and him designed a tornado machine few years back and were members of torro. Don't worry he aint my backer
  9. Yes the Mardyke complex....I know the Irish Pool tour holds competitions down there, Im a member of the tour see.....and a pool shark ey?......better watch you don't get hussled. I was ranked 25th in all of Ireland at one stage  . But yeah its a cool idea for one of the nights before we hit the pub/club. Any rock venues down there or alternative music clubs?
  10. Yeah its an incredible series.....unfortunately they aren't aired here until next year so Im not sure they will be released on Dvd until then. Which reminds me, gotta get the next episodes up.....was reluctant to as I didn't think anybody was watching as I've had no replies. But I shall get them up later when my daughter is off home.
  11. Sounds interesting to me, I'd have a few suggestions for Cork too, I know of an American Pool Hall down there. I'd definitely like to come down, will be interesting to meet a few members, although I don't drink guiness.....Im a whiskey man.
  12. I wouldnt say it rules my life no, I enjoy my life whatever the weather. My interest in weather spans all aspects of the climate, snows good for having a childish day and going out sledging, getting wet and cold and dragging your wet ice covered boots back through the home again when it gets too cold. Mild weathers great for doing some outside work and taking trips to town. Wet weather is nice to sit at home having a nice cuppa and playing the blues on guitar. Dry weather is good for taking nice scenic trips. Stormy weather is exciting to watch the trees sway and listen to the howl of the wind, is also good for photographing damage the next morning when all is calm again. Thunderstorms well obviously they are what everyone wants during the summer to end a nice hot sunny day. So basically no matter what the weather I enjoy it.....

  14. I think alot of people will find that any warnings made will be hyped up a bit, it usually means a more localised event but if a red warning is in force it would herald a more widespread event rather than a local.
  15. None here in county Down as far as I have seen, however I got wind that I may have missed a short light snow shower last week and during October. So far the most I have seen is Sleet......coastal temperatures are still too high to allow for any good snowfall in my area so usually by end of December is when I see some wintriness.
  16. Probably a technical error (ie added 0) with the windspeeds probably ranging from 18-37mph.... As for the dust symbol, we do actually get Some dust from S.Africa during the Summer, so I guess this would be used to forecast this in a more significant factor. Although my guess is as good as yours so if I am corrected I would be happy to learn from my mistake.
  17. Thanks Shuggee, hard to believe I have no professional meteorological qualifications, Im only 23 and I have just produced that forecast with my interest in the weather since I was 8.....I've learnt alot from this site itself and in a very short space of time so I do persuade those with an interest in weather to join the site as its very helpful and full of learning curves and professional members to learn from. It has made me severely interested in getting the professional qualifications and becoming what i have always dreamed, a forecaster/professional meteorologist, or if the opportunity ever arises, a Stormchaser, as this is what inspired my interest.
  18. Thank you Paul, much appreciated and special Thanks to Netweather for giving me the opportunity. Hope you all enjoy reading the forecast and may your christmas be white and cheerful
  19. Quick question, how do I open the results table without excel???
  20. Well thats exactly what it is like trying to forecast 3-4 months in advance, there is more chance of mystic Peg being correct. But hopefully we can do our best and if you've made a cold outlook we can hope it comes off B)
  21. Interesting read, not quite what I was expecting, but then again thats Womens intuition for you , just joking. Not a bad forecast and definitely realistic.
  22. Nice work Shandiman, I have to say you aren't far out I feel with this Forecast. My forecast is close to yours but in more detail and with the data to back it up. Fingers crossed we are correct.
