    Hottest day of this hot spell is looking like Saturday! Some very uncomfortable nights to come until at least early next week!

    Gfs run this morning goes for a longer period of warmth but only a couple of hot days ECM looks hotter to my eye with low further south allowing to pull in the very warm air, next weekend looks hot on ECM providing we get sunshine

    On the more positive note the weather is going to be better next week than the last week, a couple of warm days and Thursday could hit 29 that will do for now

    50/60 mph gusts of wind and cool and wet really is not going to be welcomed tomorrow In high summer. I hope things will settle down soon and warm up just a little

    It’s pretty grim for high summer, the worse thing is there is not even any signs of improvement so nothing to look forward to at the moment. Surely we will get a warm spell before October if not will really have to consider a winter holiday somewhere hot!

    Another day, Another day of absolute garbage on gfs right to the end. We had our summer in June!

    July is my favourite month when the weather is decent! Going to have to tell the misses to stop booking stay vacations. Every time we have booked a stay vacation the summer has been shocking!

    Really time for a break and come back in a few days hopefully there will be some better signs by then. This is like how bad it gets in winter searching for cold and snow. On gfs temp does not get above 24 after Tuesday.

    Well this is the first day of my staycation, my metoffice app says heavy rain all day until 19.00 couldn’t make it up. I bet we will get this pattern of unsettled weather until mid august, then get very warm spells until end of September that’s what I think will happen now.

    Hats off to those who wrote the whole of July off right at the beginning, the gfs outlook this morning anyone would think it is autumn.

    We’ll outlook is still poor, have to be hoping for a good august now, still time for a change in last week of July I suppose but not hopeful.

    23.8 here just amazes me how quick it got hot with a southerly air flow. With all the heat Spain won’t take much to get a very hot spell in the next few weeks

    Gfs,gem,ukm,ukv all seem to agree on a very warm to hot Friday and Saturday on this run

    Truth is we were spoilt last summer, June we were spoilt, expectations for summer are to high on here. Friday sat look warm humid potentially hot, then a revert to more unsettled weather, patience is needed for the next settled spell.
