    I find their extended forecasts these days absolutely shocking, they are not accurate and cover their backs by all angles. I now stick to going by the models charts 5 days out or so. I still think we are in with a shout of a wintry flavour between Christmas and new year

    Balmy few days ahead compared to what we’ve had, there is just a glimmer of hope we could cool down Christmas Eve/Christmas day, in next couple of days I am going to hope for some upgrades to at least get us cold and frosty for Christmas Day

    Been an interesting period of how cold it has been, but unfortunately the warm sea prevented any snow here. I am hoping this cold snap will lead the path for snow chances after the milder spell next week. My only fear is we will go into a period of weeks of Atlantic lows from next week

    The radar is wrong it’s got snow over Worthing, nothing is falling from the sky

    Last 2 gfs runs have showed sleet snow running along the south coast overnight tonight, wondering if this could produce a covering over the downs, haven’t seen other models

    As my location has had no snow, I’m kinda looking out for the next cold spell as I require the air to come from, Siberia or Scandinavia. Fingers crossed we’ve had the cold start to winter this will open things up in next few weeks

    We haven’t had a decent snow fall since March 2013 here, think we need winds coming from north east to be in our favour. Yes took dog for a walk yesterday eve, and it was like an ice rink. Roll on summer

    Yet again my location misses the snow, and does not like getting any out of this cold snap. This is why I should just stick to chasing heat

    I am very confused I believe it is game over for me? BBC app has been so wrong today, has been showing snow all afternoon and evening yet we have has rain, sleet, and now stopped. So metoffice local forecast is for snow tonight, app says no for Worthing. Please can I have experts thoughts?

    Same can’t see us getting any snow tonight, it is so difficult to get snow on this part of the coast

    2.7 degrees here, a little warmer than expected, I fear it will be rain that falls here today

    This is really annoying as we have everything in place for snow now will be massive let down if we get nothing before the cold snap is out. need a nudge north west in next 12 hours otherwise tomorrow nights snow chance is over for me

    Mean while BBC have just update the forecast for me 100% this will not be showing in the forecast tomorrow, on plus side how often is the 18z inaccurate

    Although lovely charts again this morning this is far from sorted and models will be chopping and changing run to run. My concern is with the gfs assembles with more milder ones turning up. Let’s hope upgrades keep coming next few days

    What was it in this mornings runs then 5 - 1 in colds favour? good thing is there’s no cross model agreement and days for this to be sorted

    Seen this set up before, last Christmas I think the low went further and further north, more runs def needed, I don’t like this uncertainty, I would rather have cross model agreement of a beastly. I believe we will end up mild by end of next week with out a snowy breakdown in the south. I hope I’m proved wrong.
