    What was it in this mornings runs then 5 - 1 in colds favour? good thing is there’s no cross model agreement and days for this to be sorted

    Seen this set up before, last Christmas I think the low went further and further north, more runs def needed, I don’t like this uncertainty, I would rather have cross model agreement of a beastly. I believe we will end up mild by end of next week with out a snowy breakdown in the south. I hope I’m proved wrong.

    Really interested to see how the ECM pans out this eve, met office outlook was poor for southern uk stating rain or sleet but I don’t really follow them anymore. This Low is going to be interesting too, I believe it will stay south and be much weaker.

    I know this chart is deep FI but there is some serious cold not far from our shores.

    I remember last Christmas was looking odds on for snow and cold, then something similar to what the ECM has done on the last 2 runs happened and it ended up being mild. We need models back track tomorrow.

    I really can’t understand the doom and gloom on here, models are showing the best start to winter in years, plenty of chances for upgrades in the coming days. Models wobble run to run. Watch the ECM now pull out a cracker

    Iv woken up from autumn hibernation nice to see a cooling trend for the run up to Christmas. a decent shot of cold will arrive

    Gfs this morning has a few days with high 20s in early September2022, summer is far from done yet

    Gfs ditches idea of 30s for Thursday Friday instead exchanges for a decent warm bank holiday on this run

    Let’s see how tonight’s run goes last two runs have been hot, I believe the ECM was hot this morning too, don’t think you can really ask for more this summer it keeps on going

    6z has Monday 27, Tuesday 29, Wednesday 29 Thursday 33, Friday 32 looking like another hot week for south east

    Gfs run, Wednesday could touch 30, Thursday Friday could reach low 30s what more can you ask for this summer

    Still a lot of decent weather around for the south, temperatures remain very respectable some may say comfortable after the recent heat, good few weeks before we notice the autumn chill

    Gfs really chopping around for next week, I think it’s safe to say there will be some decent weather for late summer, but let’s see what ECM says it’s prob will be a scorcher

    Quite a lot of rain in the last 2 days for my area, not sure if we will see anymore for a while though now, would be nice for sun to return for a couple more weeks, then we have all of autumn and winter for rain

    I remember a September a few years ago the temp hit near 35 degrees, there is still potential to get into the 30s again in the next 2/3 weeks, I wouldn’t be at all surprised, both the gfs and ecm are sniffing some heat they just need to firm up how warm/hot and how long

    Still warm very warm showing end of august, but not the heat that was showing yesterday, more runs needed

    I recon we got a months worth of rain this morning, it absolutely tipped it down, was a decent thunderstorms too, feels rather humid again

    Here we go again for next week onwards south east low to mid 30s very warm nights, one run, but last few from gfs has shown hints, plus ECM if this comes of any rain we get before that will be pointless as it will all dry up, one of the greatest summers this is turning into

    This guy has been spot on with heatwave forecasts so far this summer, so I agree and have seen some evidence of this in some gfs ecm runs
