    Had 2 very heavy downpours today. The first 1 around 2 hours ago was stair rods for a good 20 minutes must have dumped well over half an inch. And secondly not quite so heavy but still a lot of water. Currently going dark again and very humid and still, but oddly no thunder/lightning.

    Today has been very warm but noticeably more cloudier compared to yesterday as well as a lot less breezier. Yesterday was beautiful with a keen wind just helping to freshen things up. Top temp today of 24C.

    A very cloudy day overall. Rain started at noon and has been on and off all day. Quite cool as well so a total contrast to yesterday. Current temp 15.4C and moderate drizzle and leaden skies.

    A dry day with plenty of sunsine and feeling a lot warmer than yesterday, and a lot more muggy. Cirrus is now drifting in now probably ahead of the rain tommorrow. Current temp 17.2C

    Fantastic pics seasons-The 5th pic sends a shiver down my spine-I can just imagine that leaden sky rolling towards me across the field-I wouldnt be able to control myself!

    ^ True, althought when you do get them , they tend to be more severe due to it being slightly warmer in the SE (generally) and they have sucked up moisture from the sea if its an import from the continent. ^ Theft is a terrible crime! ^ How very dare you! Relinquish your statement immediately. :lol: Currently cloudy. The tower that was around at 8pm has long died a death. Quite cool out if im honest.

    A bright and mainly sunny day. Just 1 T storm tower at 8pm but it was dying and produced nothing. Temp has dropped sharply since sunset and feels cool and refreshing outside. Current temp 13.6C and falling.

    Fantastic video, cant believe that it spawns like that. In normal time you just look up and see what you see, but its amazing to see it evolve when speeded up. Good work. Closer to home, been a dry day with no whiff of anything electrical. Although i took a pic of a tower to my west at around 8pm. No rain/lightning as it was probably dying due to losing the heat from the day. It was taken on a phone so ive altered the colour to make it stand out...

    Nothing at all here mate, just a light shower at around 3pm. Currently hazy sun with high level cirrus, although i have to admit, the cirrus formations do look really nice!

    Fantastic illustration of how its bubbling up in EA. Here the sun is mainly out, temp 19.8C and getting breezier, still no storm though.......YET!

    A bright and mainly sunny day interspersed with just 2 light showers. Feels warm and muggy out of the breeze. Currently 20C. Looking forward and hoping for a good storm this evening.

    Nothing here today so far just a light shower early in the morning and one around 4pm. Plenty if cumulus clouds but no real CBs. Still, plenty of life left in today.

    No showers today for my region but there are a few cumulus clouds looking menacing.

    We have 1 around our front garden around 40m of the bloomin stuff. We have only cut it once this year about 10 days ago and it didnt really need cutting-just tidying up. Usually we cut it in early may and its around 6 inches long so it really has been a late grower this year. I honestly think its due to the cold winter with its continuous harsh frosts that has kept it from growing. GOOD! Less work for me!

    A nice day so far. Cumulus clouds bubbling up but the sun is out for great lengths at a time. Feels warm in the sun and with just a light breeze. No rain today so far.

    Mostly stratus clouds here now with continuous light rain although there is darker cloud/tower to the NW which would tie in with what "weather09" said. Still, plenty more coming up from the SW!

    An overcast day to start with with just 1 or 2 breaks in the cloud. Just had an intense downpour followed by a thunderstorm which is still rumbling away. Feeling much warmer than yesterday. Currently 16C.

    Just had a very heavy downpour for 10 minutes but that has stopped. As soon as it stopped lightning and thunder popped up. Currently rumbling away nicely!

    The bright echoes on the MO radar seem to be skirting round the SE rather than over land as the Beeb predicted this morning. Still, its only late afternoon, anything can happen now up till 9pm. I love the storms in the late evening. Just as the daylight is waning, after a sweltering day, BANG it all kicks off. Admittedly its not a sweltering day but you never know guys!
