An overcast day with rain moving in around an hour ago. It has felt cool throughout the day and the current temp is 12.7C.

And still the rain falls. It has eased of SLIGHTLY but it wouldnt take much because it has been simply streaking down since 1am. Temp 9.5C and just a very slight breeze.

Oh dear. Their has been a lot of flooding around my area today and the rain has been, in comparison, light compared to heavy thundery downpours. I dread to think what will happpen if we catch a few heavy downpours which will fall on severly saturated ground. The same lump of PPN is expected to pivot and move back up the country again later tonight/tomorrow is it not? Or have things changed?

That seal blends in well with the rocks! Nice bluey tinge to the sea as well.

Im going by a very accurate measure that is well known across the weathering world though . There is a bucket in the garden that is approx a third full and that has all accumulated from 6pm onwards last night.

Well its been raining heavily and solidly since roughly 1am this morning. Must have had a few inches of rain. Most rivers and streams have broken thier banks and many roads closed due to flooding. The temp has just scraped 9.5C and thats the highest it has been all day. I think the weather is compensating for the almost bone dry weather of the last fortnight. More rain expected in the early hours of Sunday-Great!

Getting really muggy here now, as the breeze from the day has stopped. High cloud has been creeping in for the past 2 or so hours and the temp is just slowly starting to fall. Currently 21.4C.

After a night of very heavy rainfall, the day started off dry but punctuated by heavy showers. Currently in the heaviest shower of the day and the first thundery one as well. Temp briefly rose to 16C but shot down again in the current rain. No sunshine at all today.

Well i am sat smack bang under the rain belt. A very cold, nagging East wind and moderate rain on and off. Temp is just 8.7C and thats the warmest it has been all day! Pah!

A cool night last night, the temperature was allready down to 5.6C by midnight. Today has been cloudy all day but a current temp of 16.1C-feels mild.

I think it has been a fantastic winter. I have had ice days with heavy rime and thickfog around the start of 2009. I recorded -7.4C which, in a very urbanised environment and seeing as the station is located on the side of the house, was very special. An inch of snow on 5th january was refreshing after the rimey conditions previously, and the snow barely melted throughout the day. Then the start of feb was crazy, lots of snow overnight and through the day monday and a heavier and prolonged snow monday evening topped the levels up very nicely. This was topped up frequently for the next 8 ish days. Overall a fantastic and varied winter. None of this snow that just about settles then melts as soon as it has landed.

A cloudy start to the day after a cold night. The cloud (which was mainly high level) soon shifted leaving a lovely day with little cloud and warm temps.

The day started off with mainly blue skies, bright sunshine but with a chilly wind after overnight rain. This nagging wind has continued throughout the day making it feel much cooler than it actually is. When it does die down slightly, an immediate difference can be felt. Currently mainly sunner with just a slight build up of cumulus.

The day started off very misty (almost foggy) and took its time to clear. Felt very cold this morning too with a temp of just 5C at 9.15am. The mist slowly melted away leaving a blue sky sunshine day. Temp currently 12.3C.Light breeze.

Currently moderate rain and feeling even cooler-temp of 6.9C

Really vivid pics, i especially like the 3rd pic with the tree, because of the dark blue sky at the top which fades to a more milky blue near the horizon. Thanks for sharing.

I think it will be quite a mild month (unfortunately!) So i will have 8.8C please.

A nice day today with mainly unbroken sunshine and just the odd dark/large cloud. On exposed land/hills though it felt bitterly cold with the wind but springlike in any sheltered areas.

A dry day. Started off sunny but a general clouding over was evident. Felt mild and quite calm. around 12C. Currently cloudy, mild and still and is a balmy 9.8C

The showers this morning must have merged becuase it was pretty much continuous moderate rain until about 11.30am. After this, it dried up and has been a nice day with the cloud slowly melting throughout the day. Clear skies currently and a crystal clear moon (looks like a fullmoon). Felt warm in the sun but actually chilly/cold in the rain. Current temp 3.7C and falling.

The day started off with blue sky sunshine after an overnight low of -2.3C. The rest of the day saw high level cloud feeding in watering down the sunshine. Still a nice day however.

Got down to -2.1C here last night under clear skies. The day started off lovely and has continued so with just a slow build up of cumulus clouds. Currently 1.4C under mostly clear skies. No wind.

The rain today started earlier than expected at at about 11am and slowly intensified. It has felt really cold throughout the day despite the temp being a steady 6.5C. VERY gusty wind picking up in the last 30 mins, which is driving the rain outside against the windows. Makes you glad to be inside next to a roaring fire!
