I think there's a bit of a misunderstanding here. When @TheLastMinute said Fergie "slapped down a tweet" - he meant that Ian dismissed the tweet that he was replying to - which was calling the Thurs/Fri event a damp squib.

Yeah seeing a few flakes of dandruff blowing around. Had to use the million candle man-torch to see them though.

We need to get one of those feedback loop things going between the Wash and The Severn Estuary. You know where each snowflake talks to the next down the line and asks it to send more reinforcements to the front.... I'll get my coat...

Yeah not very intense ppn but maybe a dusting if there's a long enough train of it. We had something like that over us about 6pm and there were the slightest of feathers blowing around in the wind. p.s. I'm originally from Wellingborough so I know that neck of the woods!

Strange continuity on ECM between 168 and 192 in terms of flow and colld upper 850's progression. Although, if it get's to this stage I don't think anybody will worry about it. -

Holy heck it's snowing!! On/off snow/sleet. According to the Filton weather station http://www.martynhicks.uk/weather/data.php it's 2.4C dp 0.8C - I'm at 58m asl.
